Imagine if you will, watching this finale, needing to wait for a translation of the text at the end to find out there would even BE a second season, and then waiting around TWO YEARS hanging on that cliffhanger. It might seem a lucky thing to be able to go directly into season 2 after this, but marinating in gold-plated "WTF" waiting for season 2 was a painful yet unique treasure of an experience. 😁 (I think the glitchy sound is just a glitch, I don't remember that being there from the first time I watched it.)

In case anyone is wondering, I checked the episode again and found out that the glitch happened around 16:34 to 16:37 (4 seconds) then at 16:39 to 16:43 (5 seconds) then 16:45 to 16:46 (2 seconds)
I can't wait for you guys to watch season 2 now ^^ things are about to get serious! On a side note: I recommend watching their chibi series (which is called The Daily Life in Lightime) since Season 2 have a few easter eggs referencing from it; you guys either can watch it on your own or make it a series - either way is fine. It's only 7 - 11 minutes including the intro and outro of the episodes but if you don't want to watch the whole thing, I still suggest watching at least the episodes 3, 4, 6, & 8 since those were the episodes that was used as easter eggs from Season 2 ^^
Definitely make sure to re-listen to the OST when you have a chance. So many good songs you probably missed as they fit the mood so well you didn't even realize.
