Incredible garden!!! I scarified for the first time ever today. Shocking how much gets removed!?!?! My lawn looks worse now but, with fertiliser and top dressing, I’m told that in a few weeks it should look better than ever. Fingers crossed 🤞
The Fully Charged Gardener the best description of my lawn is mostly moss, with some burn marks from the dog. I scarified my front lawn (single pass) and filled 1.5 wheelie bins and it’s about 80m2.

Looks like that lawn really needed that. Now you'll have some great material for the compost. Can't wait to see a video on that wheelbarrow. Is that 10 cubic feet? Cheated iron and minerals in a liquid spray will really green it up.
In this area I use a mower to pic up the debris - it it is windy. If it is calm I sometimes use a blower. But the mower works fine. Thank you for watching 👍
@@TheFullyChargedGardener I buught Seppach scatifier with 5.7 horse power and it says that it should bw uswd in april and swptember. Someome says everytime when is not too hot. What is your expierience? Thank you in advance

Although a scarifier can be used on a high setting and used as a verticutter throughout the season. Is scarifier should definitely not be used if there is a frost on the lawn. If scarifying during a dry spell of weather, it is important to make sure the lawn is well irrigated after to help it recover.

Such a satisfying job. It is a fixed blade machine, which is absolutely fine for the lawns I will be using it on 😀

Hi, It all depends on the condition of the lawn. How much Thatch or moss there is, as to the number of passes you would make 👍🏻

😀 Its has had a liquid feed with some maxi crop. I do have a little something to give it a boost in a couple weeks 😉

Always amazing how much rubbish comes off even with 3rd pass. When did you last scarify?

if it wasn't so dry id add some iron sulfate. Bit of a strange spring this year super wet winter now super dry spring.

Wouldn't be good enough or powerful enough for tougher jobs, also it wouldn't last long from job to job, as a commercial machine I'd avoid
