      Music credit: 大二爷伯的故事 | 大二爺伯 Tua Li Ya Pek (1999年版) 朱峰 Zhu Feng
      Song Background: Originally written in 1995 as incantation for Tua Li Ya Pek possession (大二爺伯 Da Er Ye Bo; Black and White Impermanence). In 1999, the incantation is produced and released as song based on chinese opera melody honouring the Chinese traditions and folk religion. Tua Li Ya Pek is often heard in temples honouring the underworld deities, the song is sung by temple followers during Tang Ki (乩童 Spiritual Medium) worship. Underworld deities (Tua Li Ya Pek) possession incantation is sung instead of chanted as opposed to Chinese heaven deities.
      Thanks for asking about it. I like that song; it's got a soothing melody and I've been playing it on repeat. The one I used in my video has been sped up by 10% to fit the overall mood of the video.

    • @SupernaturalConfessions
      @SupernaturalConfessions  10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      This happened 5 years ago. Through a mutual friend Jane, the medium contacted me saying that Ah Pek had sent him to speak with me. I can’t remember the specific details what that reason was but during the meeting the medium said I had a very dark shadow over my face and that I should go visit him at his temple which I did the following week.
      When it was my turn, I sat down beside Ah Pek for my reading. He mentioned 5 things - all personal details that are not found online and definitely not something that Jane would have known.
      The next part was the cleansing process which required me to perform some merit-making tasks over a period of one month.
      Also to note; he didn’t collect anything from me not even an Ang Pow. He said want to give; next time when everything is better can come back and give.

      Took me a couple of reads but I think I know what you’re getting at. We don’t know enough about life and the world to be so certain that we are right and others are wrong. So we should all keep an open mind and perhaps the more we discover the more we understand.

  • @turborabbit75

    Correction. This festival is only celebrated in HK, SG, Taiwan and Malaysia. However, it's a completely unheard of forgotten cultural festival in China after the CCP cultural revolution that banned all religions, tore down temples, churches and mosques and punish all who believes in superstitious religions. Only the CCP Emperor is allowed to be worshipped by the people.
    I guarantee you nobody in China will know or remember anything about this festival. No need to go China conduct street interview. Just observe all the ah Tiong in SG you come across to see if any of them celebrate or even heard of this festival when they were back in China before coming to SG.
    99% of PRC today born after the cultural revolution doesn't have a religion

    I don't understand. If there's reincarnation after certain time, then why still offer food, money etc for the deceased. They are reincarnated, born again and become somebody else. Isn't it?

    • @SupernaturalConfessions
      @SupernaturalConfessions  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@evelynho3420 it’s a great question. I’m going to try to answer this based my own understanding which will likely differ from monotheistic religious doctrines.
      Each life we live, every existence we have on this plane, we leave behind a part of our soul fragment. We learn, we reincarnate, we live, we die.
      At the end times, when we are ready to ascend to wherever we need to go, all the soul fragments come back to us to make us whole as we are judged for our deeds. To tally the ledger, so to speak.
      Which is why psychics are able to look into past lives, and how descendants or people who venerates our past existence also benefits who we are in the following life times.
      In the spirit world, we exist in the past the present and in the unwritten all at once. Time is not linear. You see reincarnation as a reset, and that as souls, we can only be at one place at one time. But I think it’s just an ongoing series featuring the same soul protagonist which is ourselves.
      Hope my attempt to make sense of your question gives you some insights.
