This look really works for you. Your face is similar in its structure to those faces of film actresses in the 1902s, and this look really accentuates and enhances those features. Spot on!
I have to thank you, because once again I am in awe of your gift: This is truly what I feel like when the wave of panic attacks hit me: Eyes wide with fear, dark and hollowed due to the scarring moments of nightmares, skin pale and drained of color, lips tight so you don't scream in public. And yet, those battles and fears give my soul a facet of beauty it would not otherwise have, as your makeup shows.
have to admit, i always start off thinking " damn that's messy" "how can that ever turn into something spectacular??"....it always does tho. always so artsy, messy and yet so perfect. real talent.
I am so fond of the lip art in this video! What I love the most about your makeup style is that it's all the small details that bring it all together. Nothing is loud or heavy :D
Gosh, Klaire, you are so amazing. I can't imagine I'll ever tire of your videos. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with the rest of us. BIG HUGS!
I'm still really hoping you'll do "pain". I know normally pain is associated with the physical body but people can be in pain emotionally too. But without bruising or damage, pain is so hard to see. It would be fascinating to see you create "visible pain" with no visible cause!
+Lynzi Oliver-Musto Possibly could include bloodshot eyes, tears running down a face, red, blotchy skin from crying, and greasy hair, since when people are sad, they usually don't care about their hygiene! :)
This really is a beautiful view of the emotion, I absolutely love this series already!!! I'm an art student and I've decided to focus on emotion after I was inspired by your series (not using your photos, makeup or ideas of course). This is an amazing idea for a series and it is obviously very popular, thank you Klaire!!
I really enjoy this series. It's like a lot of what I paint. Like the first one, exhaustion reminded me so much of what I see in my head when I try to paint. I know this is a makeup tutorial but it also taught me some painting tips, while inspiring me! So thank you so much, Klaire!!
I didn't get the concept at first, but after your mini description in the comments, it makes sense. The character is elegant and yet creepy enough to spook you, unlike in most modern movie where its not even a real character over just special effects. Lovely makeup, Klaire
Honestly I am loving how this look reminds me of Edgar Allen Poe and the 1920's, an odd combination but some how it just works. Kudos Klaire, lovely work as always.
Funny that you described it as "Burtonesque" because that's precisely what I thought when I saw the thumbnail in my notification email. Lovely. And as always, the editing on your photos is exquisite.
damn, i love this. might become my favourite look you've done lately. i really like the thought you always put into these videos, it's always a bit unconventional and just so full of creativity.
This idea is completely BRILLIANT! I can see why you're able to make your living creatively; You're always full of great ideas...This is by far my favorite look in this series.
KlairedelysArt could you pretty please do jealousy? I dont know if youre finished with this series yet or not, but i think it would be a beuatiful but mean look.
This is so beautiful, definitely my favourite! What I like about this is that to me, the lashes looked like the mascara had clumped like it does after crying or something. So cool :)
I love this series! I wonder how you would portray the emotion Nostalgia. It's something we have quite often but don't really think about. I feel like as you grow older, it gets more and more prominent, sometimes being as strong as the basic emotions such as fear, sadness, joy etc.
I must say that you did a great job with the eye shadows. If it were me, I would have just messed up and ended with a 'blacken eye' look. Great job as always. Love your tutorials.
that's like Hitchcock's idea of fear:a beautiful woman who fascinates and terrorize you...(Sorry for my really bad english, but I'm italian and I'm studing english)
aaaaa im living for this concept Klaire!! i love the burton/black parade feel to the eyes especially, i feel that you really conveyed it really well ^^
I really enjoy watching your creative concepts and your originality. I am extremely curious as to where you got all your rings shown in this video. You have a beautiful smile and are wonderful for sharing your videos and talents with the world online :)
+Elizabeth O'Shea Ooooh, good question. I'd personally say brushes, but then again if brushes are really bad then there is a lot you can do with just your fingers too :)
This look reminds me very much of the female lead in The Cabinet of Dr Caligari, so naturally I love it! What movies did you draw on for inspiration? I can't wait to see the rest of this series, youre incredibly talented xx
I love this look!! I understand how it portrays fear but how did you chose to do this for fear? Also a suggestion for the series, it would be really interesting to do numb or emotionless even though it is an emotions series, and also loneliness.
i was really curious about why did 1920s makeup inspire you fear. it was really clever to think about old terror movies. i love how your makeup has a lot of thought behind it.
I'm loving the emotion series !! I was wondering though, if you could consider doing a Cherry makeup look ?? Cherry from Studio Killers, I mean. Thanks !!
I think I'd love to see how passion or confidence would be expressed if you're interested. But like everyone else, LOVE all your looks and esp this series!
This is absolutely fantastic. My favorite part is the lips. THEY LOOK SO EPIC. Anyway, I had another idea for a look if you still take requests. It would be outgoing. Not sure if this is already planned. But maybe something like bold and bright And out there. Not sure this is really and emotion. But it is a personality type. Or maybe daring. Just an idea.
You're very beautiful. A very unique beauty. Not this day and age standard of "beautiful ". But an old world. 1750s-1850s. What a rare and unique face you have. In this creation you reminded me of a wealthy, powerful woman vampire that lived long ago.
This look really works for you. Your face is similar in its structure to those faces of film actresses in the 1902s, and this look really accentuates and enhances those features. Spot on!

could you do insanity, I would love to see that
yasss I can imagine that would look so awesome
have to admit, i always start off thinking " damn that's messy" "how can that ever turn into something spectacular??"....it always does tho. always so artsy, messy and yet so perfect. real talent.
Lol, if I tried doing the eyes, I'd end up looking like the Winter Soldier, not a beautiful 1920s lady.
I am so fond of the lip art in this video! What I love the most about your makeup style is that it's all the small details that bring it all together. Nothing is loud or heavy :D
Your eyes look so large and afraid! Great job, you never cease to amaze me.
Gosh, Klaire, you are so amazing. I can't imagine I'll ever tire of your videos. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with the rest of us. BIG HUGS!

Payton Dahlia hmm, doesn't sound terribly pretty, does it? But then, pain never is...
+Lynzi Oliver-Musto it can be

This look is lovely. It's kinda like if Betty Boop was in a horror film and scared shitless.
Honestly I am loving how this look reminds me of Edgar Allen Poe and the 1920's, an odd combination but some how it just works. Kudos Klaire, lovely work as always.

this feels more like grieving or mourning than fear to me. beautiful look either way.
very beautiful! where did you get those rings, if you don't mind me asking?
+Tagr R. Some are from Amazon and some from the sterling silver section in Accessorize :)
+KlairedelysArt thanks!
+KlairedelysArt embarrassment
+Tagr R. I like those rings also and I've seen ones like them on the regalrose.co.uk website, if you're interested.
KlairedelysArt could you pretty please do jealousy? I dont know if youre finished with this series yet or not, but i think it would be a beuatiful but mean look.
You should do Depression for one of the emotions, I think you would make it look really good!
This is so beautiful, definitely my favourite! What I like about this is that to me, the lashes looked like the mascara had clumped like it does after crying or something. So cool :)
Wow this is so beautiful, I love the eye makeup especially😊
Absolutely adore the eyes! It really has a very Burton-esque feel to it! Fantastic as always :)
I love this series! I wonder how you would portray the emotion Nostalgia. It's something we have quite often but don't really think about. I feel like as you grow older, it gets more and more prominent, sometimes being as strong as the basic emotions such as fear, sadness, joy etc.

that's like Hitchcock's idea of fear:a beautiful woman who fascinates and terrorize you...(Sorry for my really bad english, but I'm italian and I'm studing english)

I really enjoy watching your creative concepts and your originality. I am extremely curious as to where you got all your rings shown in this video. You have a beautiful smile and are wonderful for sharing your videos and talents with the world online :)
Really reminds of Stefan Zweig's novel. So well done!
Beautiful! An emotion a lot of times I feel is anxiety and grief, love and sometimes I feel alone. Maybe those would give you some ideas.
Can I ask what is more important, good makeup or good brushed?
+Elizabeth O'Shea Ooooh, good question. I'd personally say brushes, but then again if brushes are really bad then there is a lot you can do with just your fingers too :)
Thanks 🙂
This look reminds me very much of the female lead in The Cabinet of Dr Caligari, so naturally I love it! What movies did you draw on for inspiration? I can't wait to see the rest of this series, youre incredibly talented xx

So elegant and unique. You are a true artist

I would love to see how you would do a makeup look for confusion, wonder, contempt, and guilt !!^^
You should either do a 'maniac high' look or 'angst'. And I love this new series~
id love to see how anxiety would look
This is absolutely fantastic. My favorite part is the lips. THEY LOOK SO EPIC. Anyway, I had another idea for a look if you still take requests. It would be outgoing. Not sure if this is already planned. But maybe something like bold and bright And out there. Not sure this is really and emotion. But it is a personality type. Or maybe daring. Just an idea.

Lovely! What did you use around the eyes?
You're very beautiful. A very unique beauty. Not this day and age standard of "beautiful ". But an old world. 1750s-1850s. What a rare and unique face you have. In this creation you reminded me of a wealthy, powerful woman vampire that lived long ago.

Very Poe-esque. I love it!
Beautifully dark and elegant
Oh my goodness, you look like a Silent Film star! I agree with a lot of the other comments; this makeup really does suit your delicate features.
