Sometimes x is pronounced as a "sh" for example Xola (was a Theatre in México City) is "Shola", or a "strong" h meanwhile Mexicans we say "Mehico" (in Spanish we write México with accent in e) people from USA say "Meczico" Even sometimes x is pronounced as "cz": Necaxa (a famous soccer team) we say "Necacza"
Behold the great Aztec empire!!!
A shock to find that in the middle of Mexico City.
The x in Nahuatl is not pronounced the same way as the x in English language.
Thanks! Those indigenous pronunciations are difficult, to say the least!
