The SU-25 is the equivalent of the A-10. It’s a flying tank. It has over 1,100kg of titanium armour vs just over 500kg for the A-10. The Frogfoot can also keep flying after a direct hit from a SAM missile. Hence in Ukraine it carried on no problems after a direct hit from a MANPAD.

Incorrect, the SU-25 hit in Ukraine was able to make an emergency landing because it was hit near the airfield, but it was completely written off. So no there was no more carry-on after a direct hit from a stinger missile because that plane wont be flying again until well after the war is over especially since Russia has no access to new spare parts.
Looks like a sim product demonstration you would see in a boardroom, mil trade show.

It's quit hard to shoot down a fast mover like a jet but put in skilled hands it can be done.....that type of missle is mostly used for helicopters prop planes and slow moving close air support jets......but like I said I've seen some really good shots from trained stinger personal
I am 16 Sierra. Stinger is very capable in hitting fast movers. Fast movers are it's specialty. 🙂

Here, it took six(?) shots before the plane went down.
How does that compare to real life?
With the real ones these missiles do a lot of damage just by getting close. They have a reputation for that. Takes the jet off the board, the 2nd shot was probably sufficient.

9 out of 10 it will hit the target but that jet was designed to take ground fire so its like rolling dices you never really know how much damage it will take before it's had enough .
