54 yrs old and this still gives me goosebumps.....absolute tune.
60 in June 2021, this was the best years of Ibiza before it got out of hand and we could enjoy ourselves without getting ripped off. Space at the start/end of the runway waving at the planes in the morning.

This is the best remix in my opinion. Why? Because its the purest... Its probably also the closest in tune and intent to the original classic. This is the kind of stuff where you just have to take in the moment.

A true masterpiece by ferry corsten. Widely considered by Trance aficionados as an exemplar of what pure melodic trance is all about, even after all these years since its initial release.
Can confirm this. I have heard this track played live by Ferry only 2 times in my life and this is one of those moments where you don't need to record it. You just have to take it in and feel the moment. Two of the best moments of my life without a doubt.

I always loved this classical piece composed by Samuel Barber. William Orbit impressed me by doing his interpretation, but Ferry Corsten took me into the stratosphere at the speed of light and through the universe and on into space with this trance gem! Still gives me sad, melancholy goose bumps and then seems like despair turns into light, into hope, into the unknown...much like what we do in life. Come to Oklahoma City or Dallas with your upcoming tour to the United States. Thank you for this exhilirating video to compliment this favorite of mine. Spectacular!

Oh how times have changed! I miss 2,000 of us all condensed in a club, dying to get in, vibing uncontrollably to the 4 diff rooms.., but all dancing so hard the floor was breathing to BREAK!!!!!!
U are so right millennium clubbing experience was one of a kind..Quality sound..Dyonisos atmosphere..A trip in Heavens each weekend...This time is gone..from now n then there r still quite good outdoor festivals but too much crowd n way too many smartphone clowns filming instead of dancing

Considering that this song was made in almost 100 years, starting with Samuel Barber, Wiliam Orbit and then Fery Corsten, basically these 3 great musicians collaborated over time, covered several musical styles and thus made a real masterpiece !
William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings (Ferry Corsten Remix) from 1999 this is the real deal, the one he won the best remix of the year award for and rightly so.
Ferry corsten is one of the greatests, period.

What an unfortunate name for a festival that took place at the end of 2019... also its worth noting that most of the people dancing in the audience probably weren't alive when this piece of history was first mixed, amazing how much time has passed
