    David, nice unboxing of an epic looking set with some very nice looking art. I’m not familiar with the Akira series but will have to check out at some point. Thanks for sharing and enjoy!

      James, if you have not seen the anime, please give it a watch! It is a lot to take in, but it is a visual spectacle not to be missed! I am really excited to jump in on the manga, which has been a blind spot for far too long. Thanks, as always, for the great comment! :)

      It is quite the tome, that’s for sure! Really glad I was able to secure a copy! I still need to pick up the Akira 4K disc. Really tempted to watch that transfer. Thanks for the comment! :)

    This looks to be a wonderful set! Haven't seen the film since VHS days, so I really should upgrade to Blu. Enjoy your reading.

      Definitely make that upgrade! It is a film that really deserves to be seen in that higher grade. Although I am a sucker for VHS era stuff in the lesser quality. It always packs a nostalgic punch to see things that way.
