I generally tell them "Why would you want to stay in the flying coffin?" It's also great when people are like "You shouldn't eat/drink that, that stuff can kill you" My response is "So can jumping out airplanes"

Different dropzones have different rules. This is a left turn dropzone. That rule though is only really when you're getting low and are near others. I've actually been practicing my signature move I barely know how I've been using a safety net to practice it you'll get this part on why I'm saying it after I say what I'm going to say entirely I can do a flip however I need about 30 ft of space from my jumping position to my landing position and that's mostly because I can do a complete flip yes but I don't want to do a complete flip if I'm landing on a net I want to do a bit more extra than a flip because you either want to land on your back or your chest when landing on a net because well you don't want to go head first into it that's probably going to break your neck because yes while they're designed to let you land more slowly still if you land on your head you're putting a lot of pressure on your neck and if you're a guy definitely don't want to land on your feet because it's a net not a trampoline there are some empty areas with itIf your feet goes inside of the holes of the net there goes the rope of it straight into your genitalia I'm pretty sure you don't want to lose that from landing sorry that would be very painful even if you didn't lose it and it would probably also make you infertile it's preferable that you land on your back because if you land on your chest that can crush your rib cage also crushing every organ in your chest which includes your actual stomach where people think their stomach is that's actually all your intestines but back to what's inside the rib cage your heart your lungs you need both of those most definitely part of your esophagus and your liver

Not sure what those chances are per se, but I'd say your chances of injuring yourself skydiving any one day are significantly less than getting injured skiing or playing soccer on any given day. I've seen some less than ideal landings, but it's generally pretty safe. It's all relative.

Try Indoor Skydiving first. This will give you the 'feel' for the freefall. With Indoor Skydiving you walk in to the wind chamber and then you 'freefall' at head/chest height with an instructor in the wind chamber with you. This prepared me for my tandem skydive as the Indoor 'freefall' feels remarkably similar. Only the view looks different! When you exit that plane it does not feel as if you are falling. It feels like you are floating on a bed of air. It's BLISS! I did my first jump (the video of which is on my TH-cam channel) in September at the age of 45 and wish that I had done it years ago! I look forward to doing many more skydives along with other forms of flying.

I went tandem for the first time 2 weeks ago and I'm going again this weekend. Then Aff training in July. It is amazing! The most peaceful, mind clearing, freeing thing I have ever experienced.

The black guy at the front is my inspiration. I’ve only tandem jumped once but that’s about to change.

I did my first tandem a couple of days ago. Even tho I loved it, watching TH-cam videos of people jumping gives me anxiety yet
