It’s funny how each member of korn had their own signature sound and if you have listened to korn long enough you can tell two of the original members are missing. Really miss David on the drums.

I played it so fuckin loud that fieldy's ripping bass blew up my subwoofer!!!!! Wow was that worth it. I have been listening to Korn since the beginning of the 90's and they just keep getting better. I'm 52 and still banging my head.

I think him not being an actual member of Korn might have to do with it, I mean he's still jamming out so I don't see any problem with where he is. It's mainly to not cause confusion cause people would've thought him to be Head's replacement if he were up front with the band.

For a short time he was their drummer, but they never wrote a song, it was just for touring.
I wish they could get David back since Head came back. David kicked ASS on those drums. I am so glad I got to see the original Band in 2000 with Staind opening for them in New Orleans. David was one of the Top Drummers back in those days. I think he was the top drummer a few years straight in the late 90's.

joey basically has the same style as david just he plays more quicker and heavier then creative, but his creativity is still brilliant, but korns is quite difficult to keep up with in terms of technic, but joey imo suits korn more then ray, his style is too different completely

Adding double bass doesn't make things more techinical. Actually Joey simplified it. The drum beat during the verses is this constant opening and closing of the hi-tat while hitting it just right. Sounds like Joey just played straight along to Fieldy's slaps with his kicks and not doing any hi-hat accents like Silveria and Luzier.
With that said, I'm a bigger fan of Slipknot. But Joey is a different kind of drummer. Overall Ray is the best rounded of them all. Been playing 15 years.
