There's just something about Ruckus that makes you love him. I had a cockatiel that would wave with one foot kind of like Ruckus does so I might be a little partial
Oh, wow! Brulee is caught up in a love triangle, one of feathered proportions, lol. She should go for Cypress. He would make a wonderful father, and he has such a wonderful outlook on life. He doesn't let his disability get him down. Hendrik is one seriously good-looking dude, but I think he should go for Aurora. And Ruckus? He has his foot, lol.
I think Cypress would make for a great father however I'm not certain he can maintain his balance in order to "do the deed". The other thing that worries me is if whoever the female he may want to be with not show any agression towards him because he doesn't have the ability to fly away from her if so. Rukus likes both Brulee and Ellie but Ellie is a bit older. Both being at prime age for mating. Aurora is more than ready and willing but I'm not certain Hendrick understands what he needs to do. I guess time will tell what they decide should anything happen.
@@ChatterboxParrots I have a question, how do they do if you only have one? Or is it recommended that you have a pair, I guess not necessarily a male and female but at least 2.

They are too funny missing mardi.my daughters ring neck is quiet the chatterbox himself and follows me around the kitchen trying to attack me while I'm not looking but I catch him in time before he takes a bite outta my leg nooo I see you 🤣😂😄
We have a total of 13 in the flock. That's including Mardi our violet who flew out. Had he not flown out we'd only have 12 but we may never see him again. Being that Mardi was actually my youngest daughter's bird my husband told her he would allow her to keep one of the babies we had this season. I might add that I did not have anything to do with that decision because I was counting on Mardi coming back. Although I understood why my husband told her this (she was heartbroken) I still wasn't on board. It is what it is though.
Is great watching them. I can watch different videos for hours. Lol. They are so beautiful, spoil & just plain fun to watch these beautiful babies. My favorite is the Lutino w Chicken legs & the green one. Omg I love them all. Wishing you guys a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year 2022. God bless you all ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😘😘😘😘😘
Lol it cracks me up to hear FRRRRANK. As far as my flock goes, most are tolerable of each other. Mardi never really cared for Dunkin. I can only assume it was a jealousy thing. Stassi up until recently didn't care for Pride and Phoenix but she is getting used to the idea they aren't leaving and to mind her business.
I showed my youngest Son Frank (Frank is 37 yrs old), some of your videos where your Bird's were calling Fraaaank, & my Son loved it so much he had to laugh out loud. I rescued a beautiful 3 &1/2 old baby Parakeet (Budgie), in February, who I named Jesy. (I had my Avian Vet do a DNA test at Jesy's "wellness check up" & Jesy is a Male. Jesy is my 4th Parakeet I have shared my life with over my 61 years, I was 16 yrs old when I got my first Parakeet). Jesy is quickly learning to say a few words, & his speech is getting much clearer as he gets older. So I told my Son that I play your videos of your Bird's calling "Fraaaank" so now Jesy can call my Son by his name! 😉😂 BTW, I actually use your videos of your Bird's talking to help me teach Jesy to speak, & so far Jesy has learned to say "Thank you", "Good Boy", "Kiss my Belly" & "Give me a Kiss Mhaw" & we are working on "Whatcha Doing" & "Come Here"! Thank you for sharing your Amazing & very Special Bird's & for helping me teach Jesy to speak too!
There are so many things I love about this video. Aurora loves those babies (makes me think of Ozzie ♥️) 5,000 toys in the house and they all want that one. Typical kids lol. I heard Dunkin doing his Dun Dun Dunkin Egg 🥚. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Generally a rescue wants you to be within 250 miles of their facility or closer. Try searching local first when going that route. Visit them a couple times to see how they operate, plus you never know you may fall in love with a different species or special needs bird. As far as breeders honestly it's hard to find reputable, hands on with knowledge. Ask if they are hand tame not just hand reared/fed, there's a difference. Ask about the diet they offer throughout the weaning process, make sure they are clean and sanitary and lastly since so many people are selling sick birds with avian diseases make sure they test their birds or will test for you.
What is a fair price to buy a ringneck bird ?I had a U2 for 44 year and she passed in 2018. I think I'm ready for another bird. Do they do well as a single bird or better in pairs ?
Single or multiple is fine. Prices vary depending on where you get one though. We base ours on color/mutation but we also DNA sex, disease test and I'm fully hands on from 2 weeks until weaning. Plus I introduce chop and pellets well before leaving my home so they leave eating a variety without the struggle of an adoptee trying to convert.
