The section near the posts... could you make it a flower border? Maybe lavender or even rosemary as a kind of hedge/border? I imagine you have a billion different recipes for the courgettes... but a nice easy one is to cut them into thick discs and cook them in a frying pan with a bit of butter, salt and garlic. Well done with the mellons too! I've tried the last two years and only ever really got pea sized ones before they gave up... I think I know how to fix it... but I do look forward to growing our own.
Ooooo you can use rosemary on bouquets so that’s definitely an idea too! And lavender for the bees 🐝🐝 I wasn’t ever planning on growing melons but as they were a gifted plant I thought why not! Hoping it gets to ripen 🤞🏻
😂😂 oh my god are you gardening in a white shirt. It’s crazy how they have a must grow percent what happens if the weather is always crappy. Your doing amazing keep at it and stay out of the garden centre 😂😂. Have a super weekend guys, Ali 🥵🌞🇨🇦
Hi Emma what a fantastic job your doing on your allotment love gherkins too also we don't say digging the plants in we say slotting them in the ground lol 😅😂 keep up the great work and we will start watching you more now all the best Budo and Tracy xx
You can't be serious. 25C is only 77F. That'd be a very nice day in the states. It's been 95F every day where I am for a couple of months in the mid-Atlantic with between 80 and 100% humidity. Thank your lucky stars.
Haha we’re not built for heat here 😂 no air con anywhere so you can’t get out of the heat and our houses are built to insulate so it’s alway a million degrees inside 😂☀️
@@HouseOfTedYT I get that you're not used to the heat, but we go thru that every year from snowy winter temps to hot summer temps. It's not hot here all year around. 77F is a comfy temperature I'd put the AC setting on inside the house. But you now know what a lot of ice in your drinks are for! And screens on windows, so you can open windows and not have bugs and birds fly in. Window screens would alleviate your million degrees inside temps. Global warming, you know! You've got to adapt. We don't crank the temps down to cold temps in the summer, and likewise, we don't crank the heat up in winter, otherwise we'd be paying a ton of money to the gas/electric companies. In winter, I heat to about 66F inside. Still chilly, but power costs $$. Even tho those 95F temps come every year, nobody gets "used to" it. It's horrible every year.
I love what you have done! I’ve just got half a plot and trying to figure out what do to do also. I think I’ll cardboard and compost like you. I’ve a load of chicken manure 🎉 well done 🎉
Hard work pays off. Well done🎉
Thank you! 🤞🏻
Great effort on the new plot, I’m sure it will be as beautiful as your old plot in no time xx
I hope!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
