When the guy sang about his friend who passed away, I started crying so hard I had to put my face in my pillow so I wouldn't wake anybody up in my house. The fact that he felt jealous that his friend was dead really got to me. It reminded me about how I felt when my dad passed away when I was 9. I felt it all again and I cried

The one guy, I think his name was josh.. we are in similar situations. It made me tear up to hear this song and his reasoning. I lost my best friend two years ago. December 9 of 2016 marked two years. His family called me and told me of him being in the hospital and he died a few hours after I was told. It was a very bad week for me, I had the flu, I had trouble at home and school, and I was going through a really bad break up at the time. I thought it couldn't get worse, but losing my best friend made all of those things I was going through, not matter anymore. When I lost my best friend, I lost my whole world. Always cherish your best friends, for one day they might not be here. I never imagined the day would come, but it has taught me a lot.. It's been two years and I have thought of him every single day. The pain still hurts as if it had just happened yesterday. It's really hard to deal with. I will always have a huge hole in my heart from where my best friend is gone. A piece of my heart will always belong in heaven, and I will be so happy when we reunite again. You're gone, but I'll never forget you. RIP my best friend, January 1996 - December 2014. you are my whole world and you'll always remain with me, even when you're gone. I love you.
