Hi Ben. It looks great!! I think I'd paint the stairs blue and then on the 3 boards on the bottom, I'd paint the top one and the bottom one blue leaving the red in the middle. They are lucky to have you help out so much on Morrow Hill.
You a worker for your family nice ,my grand sons in collage he lives at the dorm this year he lives with the ones worh higher grades and he was way over the .4 and he has a job also he enjoys working and job has it worked out when he works and studys

Always add a little sand to painted stairs. The sand helps reduce slips when wet.
