I love her jet so dark and stylish, she has an elegant taste for color and the matte is something else, to match her interior design. Oh, and she's beautiful too 🌹
@@BrianBourgeois- Airplanes fly usually, so what for a relevance has tarmac here? And they are also equipped with AC. I would also go for back matte, like with all my cars too.
@@famaccount479As a matte black fan, it looks awesome but apart from aesthetics it really isn't ideal for aircraft. Especially passenger/business jets like these that cruise at high altitudes. The exteriors of these are almost always predominantly white is because of thermal reasons. Having the plane painted full black isn't really catastrophic, but if you want less maintenance over a longer airframe lifespan, not the way to go. To get air conditioning when parked, the aircraft's APU must be running which burns up fuel or need an external ground unit hooked up. Due to noise & safety reasons airports have strict restrictions on how the APU can be operated & cost to use ground facilities like AC carts can be expensive & aren't always available. Hangar facilities are expensive & not usually provided at airports even in hot climates. So not uncommon for business jets being parked for long periods out in the open ramp which does get very hot in the sun. Black heats up more so the aluminium airframe will undergo more demanding thermal cycles each time it heats & cools, especially when climbing to & descending from cold cruising altitudes. With reflective colours like white the thermal stresses on the airframe will be far less, which means less material fatiguing. With composites, heat is not as much of an issue like with aluminium but still the black paint will absorb more radiation like UV which is higher at altitude. So the paint will degrade faster & can end up peeling.
Wow that thing looks insane! I fly some VLJs and thought a Phenom 300 our client owns was fancy but this has got to be the best looking aircraft I've ever seen inside and out. Just wow!
The thing is, planes are white or light colour for a reason. You fly above the clouds, the sunlight and heat reflect off white and bright colours vs being absorb by dark and black colours.
That would feel like a coffin. I’d be a wreck after a long haul on that. G’s are cramped enough as it is, that interior would be like being shrink-wrapped. But there’s plenty of colours for everyone, and hats off to her for living her dream. Nice to see someone being open about the cost; I’d love to see a vid of the testing and certification of bespoke material packages - as I know there have been some spectacular fails , much to the chagrin of designers who come from interior design world, and tantrum of owners…
Well, you know it’s not gonna be sitting in a hanger 300 days a year. That thing’s gonna get chartered out at least 100 days to offset the cost and those fabric seats will not be lasting long and are gonna smell like pure ass
You’ll hate the interior heat in the summer months. It’s already hard enough to cool the cabin down in a white aircraft. Plan an extra 30-45 minutes of APU run time to cool things down, also plan an m sweating through your clothes at every APU restricted airport.
I'd have a grey exterior with some stylized camo-like tone on tone graphics and a grey interior with black stained figured hardwoods and thin platinum accents.
It s very nice as a concept, but generally in architecture, it s not a good idea to make small spaces even darker, it makes the space look even smaller, so good luck to sell this claustrophobic airplane..., next one maybe try full white ! 😛
She’s right that typical jet interiors are white/beige and thus too bright inside. Black looks great although darker colors make rooms feel smaller. I love the fabric seats because fabric is cozier and grips you better. Fabric is also much quieter than leather. If you’re stuck in a tube with 10 people during a flight you’ll appreciate the sound absorbing fabric instead of leather.
Not trying to discredit her but just out of curiosity what business she ran before. Both of her businesses seem very new and both her websites don't work and have very little content? How does one go from 0-20million dollar plane in a few years? Anyone know?

Wow absolutely insane, fair play to the lady on her success, its a bit scary in all black, i do like brown and cream interior, but i don't own a private jet 😂
As a person inspired to be a private jet interior designer, it will little bit guiding. But i do believe i will require lot of guidance if I really wanna be a private jet interior designer.
Im too tired fighting with wasserflecken on my black car, so I am interested how do you clean wasserflecken on G450 so it can look perfect? Really like the fitout of G450, but would rather stick with neutral exterior paintjob…
Use DI (deionized) water for starters. Just run water though ion-exchange resin media. Then water can evaporate but there are no minerals to leave behind.
The ceramic coatings you see for cars were originally developed for airplanes to minimize outer cleanings and thereby lessen weight for fuel savings. Only requires spraying with deionized water as another commenter mentioned to remove dirt and bugs.
Absolutely stunning! I used to buy and sell jets and I agree with your taste and concept and found most jets to be boring and similar also! Thanks for shaking things up!!
High quality paint finish, cloth interior is much better than leather because cloth breaths, however a full black interior although very dramatic, it is too dark to be really comfortable for 10 hour flights. $5m for full custom paint and full strip and full interior refurb is very FULL retail, that is Half the cost of the plane second hand which you will never recover. But that is Private Aviation lol !!! A G-450 is a good jet for EU and US ops !

As a retired corporate pilot as well as a A and P mech, a all black aircraft will be a bear to keep clean and maintain. Hope the APU can handle the bright sun and high temps. Does it look mean, yes, but !!
I have really good eyesight but seeing anything inside that plane with black on chrome messes with my depth perceptions! I would be tripping all over the place with that low lighting interior.
Yeah I forgot agreed! I travel with also a duffle and sometimes I can’t find it if it has shifted a bit. In terms of her clothes and AP it looks wonderful but planes have to be built with a purpose
I just wonder how could you work in that environment, there is no light! You would need so much more light, as the black / darkness would absorb it all. ??
Maybe trust the designer a bit. It becomes tomb like, the Ursula in mermaid mythology rather than luxurious. Even the marble in the galley should have been the indication to play with light and dark tones. And advising potential clients? GOSH?!!

If I would ever have a private plane. It would definitely be like this. Black on black and especially matte black. Beautiful
No it would not. You would bake on a hot day. It’s 120 on the tarmac during the summer and you’re in a black tube.

You think Gulfstreams are cramped? The average width of a Gulfstream is between 8.2ft to 8.6ft.
FINALLY someone who realizes that leather isn't the be-all and end-all of seat fabrics!
That is fine if you are not going to chart your plane. Otherwise, stains will show quickly. And replacing anything on jets are crazy expensive
@@RICARDOABECH and you think detailing/maintaining/replacing leather is any LESS expensive? I'll take fabric any day of the week.
@spdcrzy but leather does not stain as easy. So if you drop wine or soda on it, leather you just wipe it down. Fabric will stain.
@@RICARDOABECH depends on the fabric. Besides, I'd be far more worried about carpets. Underneath those is where all the wiring lives.

good point - looks like that "beauty has to suffer"
People just assuming the plane is in a desert 100% of the time
I like everything about this. I would have done a lot more grey though. But i love the no wood or leather approach
It looks like a base model Camry with those fabric seats and all black interior 💀
Very, very good choice of using fine fabric instead of leather on the seats. Way more comfortable!!
One of the best makeovers of any plane I've seen.
