Really good list bro as a machinedramon main I have made a list that uses the soc with Marvin Jackson also bt7 dorumon this is so good as you get to gain memory for tucking him under a stack
Great list and explanations! I'd love to have Kongou in there just in case I run into a yellow vaccine or Mastemon deck, but that's probably an auto-loss regardless. Obviously, Quartzmon and Arresterdramon Superior Mode are also still problems.
Quartz is def an issue for sure. Green as a whole also has Quantumon now which also isnt great for us 😅 maste is a toss-up, its kinda like Machinedra in the sense that it can be built a lot of ways and we have better matchups into some vs others. I would say if you have a locals with a lot of Maste just swap in another BT11 MetalTyranno and give it a run, hope it helps ✌️
Since I didnt get my 4th supreme connection yet, I am running with option from newest ST to dedigivolve and force attack, but outside from that - I do like your list, although missing Guardromons that were core for Me last few sets are a bit sad
Any advice on a replacement for the raremons? I see others also mentioned the prices, if you could share some ideas to get this around, I would be really thankful.
Theres no perfect fix obviously, but impo you have 2 perfectly fine options depending on what you want him for- EX1 Guardromon is great if you plan to evo over him so you can use his inheritable If you want to keep the generic discard-to-draw on-play, play Sistermon Blanc from the Jesmon starter deck. There are PLENTY of other alternatives, but impo those two are the best! Granted if you play copies of Marvin, BT15 Airdramon is also quite strong! Hope this helps :)
I have not, id like to try out Purple with the new bt15 Demimera, but currently ive just done Blue, Red, and Black. That being said, some of the guys in my discord have def brewed around with Green, with some mixed results 😂 who knows, the new Terrier deck might bring it back 👀
I've been looking at the gargomon cards and they could have synergy, especially if u tech in the card called Hyper Infinity Cannon, u just place a Cyborg trait digimon under the level 6. Could be interesting
I'm a Machinedramon deck fan and I'm currently building a multitude of different Machinedramon decks from when it began to now, along with different color base as well
@traptor525 im actually planning on running a cooy of MegaGargo in my list now that ST17 is out, im currently planning on trading put 1 copy of Chaosdramon for him. He has full synergy with everything the deck does since hes a Machine, so Analog can redirect to him, Tai can buff when he blocks, he still gets 2 swings, all while being debatably the best Ace in the game atm. Card is just CRACKED
After a lot of testing, I agree that the Marvin package with Airdramon is just not that great. Not getting the draw from Marvin often just severely limited my plays, I didn't always want to trash something. I think this is the right way forward.
I dont even necessarily think its bad, the SoC package just demands a lot of commitment to make work... like with the Dori egg he can at least draw you cards thanks to Mind Link, but outside of that interaction i just feel like he... doesnt do much? Tai has felt significantly more impactful in the games ive played him in, and having access to a memory setter just frees up so much breathing room as the turns pass, especially now that we can often choke our opponent pretty efficiently if they dont have asetter of their own. Idk, as always i think theres a thousand ways to play Machinedra, but so far I havent felt too bad excluding the SoC support 😅
Incredible video, as always. Unfortunately I realize now that I need 3 copies of EX-1 so I had to order a THIRD Gold Rare Machinedramon uggh lol not to mention a playset of pre-release Kyokyomon xD
I know the feeling 🤣 i decided to go with box-topper Kyokyos, ive never been a fan of the gold stamp and prefer normal foiling without it when its available. But of course Haguru doesnt have that, so 20$ prerelease copies it is 🙃
I keep forgetting. But what's the ruling regarding Leviamon targeting Chaosdra X with both EX1 Machinedra and Chaosdra in sources? I know that on their own they get blown up by Levia effect, but can both skills be used to protect from the double blow up by Levia?
Yes they can! If you have just one instance it will protect from hit one and die to hit two, but if you have two instances each can be used once. But tbh, just keep a HoverEspi in play against Levia and youll never have to worry about it 😏 hes an indestructible buffer in that matchup
Really cool - very keen to to try this out for myself. I'll miss the consistancy of the BT-11 Machindramon, but hopefully SC will make up for it. Love that playmat, where did you get that?
A friend custom ordered it for me! And honestly, yeah! Supreme Connection basically does the role of BT11 Machien, on a 3 cost option you can drop turn 1 😭 its so SO nice!!
No, you can add just the one if you only see 1 I believe. Digimon is really weird with the wording they put in cards, like for instance Supreme Connection says to just return the remaining three cards to the top but we do get to choose the order they go in even though it doesnt specify "in any order". I believe its a similar situation with Gigadramon
Depends how hard you wana lean into it! Im sure plenty of lists will go full SoC, with Dorimon as the egg, 4x Dorumon in the rookie slot, 4x Airdramon and 3-4 Marvin. I personally wouldnt go above 2 Megadramon, just because your level 6s are still the star of the show and cant tuck two of them at once, but if youre going the SoC route id definately at least run a second one
Yeah, hes been holding value surprisingly well considering how rarely Machinedra shows up in top events 😅 im glad i picked mine up early. Its honestly kind of mice to see some cards can hold value in the game, def nice for the longevity of the game itself!
youre not digivolving enough now, with supreme connection youre harding playing more than you are keeping a stack from raising or a lvl 3 on play rookie, 4 memory is easy enough to get with analogman to hard drop ex1 machinedramon or drop bt7 metalgrey for 2 and evolve into a chaosdramon
Like I said i think there are lots of directions you can go, the SoC package just demands a lot of space if you wana commit to it and personally ive found the lower rookie / champion count while keeping the existing ones strictly to maximum-value-on-their-own helps keep the deck grinding from one turn to the next and minimizes the time you may have to spend looking for the next step on the ladder. This way you can build if you have the pieces but if you dont you can keep progressing your gameplan anyway. And obviously I recognize how strong the 4-card-combo of dori-doru-airdra-marvin is, but thats also requiring you to find 3 specific cards to get the max value. Idk, i found myself getting frustrated with traditional stack machinedramon during the last two formats, missing a piece and not having a solid plan B is part of why i dont think the deck was a top threat despite the absurd ocean of support its had available. I think SoC will probably establish itself as the most widely used variation of the archetype, but ive never been one to follow the grain anyway 😅
@AvidHerpetologist all due respect, the reason Mugendramon hasn't been strong these past few formats is yellow Vaccine, and it's own ingrained brickiness. The reason that SoC variant is gonna be the most widely used version of the deck is that it is flat out the best version. You don't even actually need Airdramon to make that version work. Any machine trait lvl 4 with Doru underneath can mind link with Marvin to trigger Doru-Dori every single turn. As I said, it's a choice to make. To each their own, as they say.
Really good list bro as a machinedramon main I have made a list that uses the soc with Marvin Jackson also bt7 dorumon this is so good as you get to gain memory for tucking him under a stack
YES SIR, GLORY BE TO THE EMPIRE
Best deck breakdown I've heard in a long time
This was a great watch as always. Wasn’t sure what deck I was going to play this format. But I think I’m gonna give Machine a shot again.
Machinedramon is the goat
First! Also Machinedramon supremacy!!!

@@AvidHerpetologist Quantumon is a problem too, yeah, but personally, I'm not replacing Bloomlordmon or Hydramon with that.
Neat editing
Thanks 😊 been trying to tweak something new each video to make it more dynamic, even if its just something small.
Since I didnt get my 4th supreme connection yet, I am running with option from newest ST to dedigivolve and force attack, but outside from that - I do like your list, although missing Guardromons that were core for Me last few sets are a bit sad
Yeah, me too :( i will miss EX1 Guardro and tbh he may make a comeback at some point!
I enjoyed your video, cheers from Cuba.

Have u ever made any of the other color base decks for Machinedramon. Like yellow, purple, or green base

I can't wait for this bedroom to drop. It would be one of the best seen for this archetype out of the main colors

Can you stack supreme connection effects and further reduce play cost or is it like the training cards?
Its like the training cards, so you activate the Delay and play something by effect. So cards like Pillowmon will block it, and they cant stack

11:38 what would you recommend for a ratio for bt15-megadramon:marvin

I'd add a 4th Chaosdramon, but I only have 3 and its price in Europe is too high for an SR.
Yeah, hes been holding value surprisingly well considering how rarely Machinedra shows up in top events 😅 im glad i picked mine up early. Its honestly kind of mice to see some cards can hold value in the game, def nice for the longevity of the game itself!
Not running bt7 Dori Doru combo and Marvin is certainly a choice. A terrible choice, no doubt, but a choice nonetheless.

@desertcat6599 brother if id have to pass turn on a 5 off of Connection I aint burning the connection 😅
Raremon's like 30 bucks each 😢
He sure is 😬 i got my pair for 12 each thankfully, cant believe how hard he spiked
@@AvidHerpetologist wey can blame SeC Con for this...
Blame the ban. When they restricted Eyesmon, this became the answer.
