Yo, this dude is actually kind of great unlike the other TH-camr that just talked a whole time and don’t even even give you advice you deserve a sub
Did you get it to work? Did everything but don’t see the option to turn on 120
@@LaheyJimm yeah works for me. What type of Xbox are you on?
For real bro, I’m running 120 right now and this is amazing
Best tutorial ever that doesn't waste time straight to the point thanks bro
It works you just have to restart ur game for the setting to show up
Omg thank you so much it didn’t work then I saw your comment truly thank you
@@user-mm5jx2bi5o no problem
Thankssssss
Legit legend bro, I was panicking at first until I saw your comment, absolute W!

This is the only video that works for me tysm
Everything worked perfect for me I had to restart Fortnite to see the 120 setting good stuff Brodie 📈🤝🏾
I was worried till I realized I had to haha
When I restarted it it doesn't work
@@Oogleyboggley-qeu56 after u have to go to the settings like he about the 120 settings
@@UserBernardo5891 it's not there after I reset
@@Oogleyboggley-qeu56 u might not have a monitor that supports that
I did but I don't have the 120 fps option in fortnite
U gotta restart fortnite
I think it depends on your console, cause i got a series x and it worked.
@@Egg172series s works too 🤝
I’m starting to get worried because it’s not going back
what isn’t?
js press the xbox button
Just go to the video fidelity thing and change it back to auto detect recommended
press b
Me too my screen is black
I did this and then loaded up Fortnite and went into a creative match and went to an island and then checked my graphics settings in game and it showed up. I think it must only show in game but not in menu until you enable it. Hope this helps!
Are you on Xbox s or x
thanks for clearing that up little buddy
@@danielappleby9929it works on both
Bruh this helped so much I can’t believe I could of been playing on 120 fps the whole time

It all works, but I’m running out of 4K TV and I’ve always played on 4K and now even when I revert the setting, it doesn’t let me go back to 4K anymore help?
Omg thanks man I needed that ❤
You are actually amazing thank you
Bro this actually worked for my TV
it doesnt matter what it says, your tv cant actually display 120 fps unless it is super new
Straight to the point 🙌🙌🙌
Tysm only video that worked
I do everything like in the video, I have a 120hz monitor and in fortnite I do not have the option to change fps?
Same thing to me
Same
I have everything like that, but it still shows 60 FPS
U have a 120hz monitor and a 2.1 hdmi cable ?
@@Xajlr yes and I got it working now
@@Xajlrdo you need a 2.1 HDMI to run 120hz on xbox?
Also mine doesn’t update to 120fps. HDMI high speed isn’t enough? I heard it supports up to 350hz

Don’t do it I messed up real bad
Thankyou I didn’t know you had to have hdmi on instead of auto detect
best video so far... THANKS!!!
Thank you dude. Bless you bro
I have a monitor like his that doesn't support all the highest settings and it didn't work. Is it my monitor or did I do something wrong?
Dose my hdmi cord have to be on number one for this to work? It’s on the second slot and it’s working for 120 fps mode but is that bad
Thank you omg you helped so much
My game didn’t wanna start and th en when it did I couldn’t change it from 60 hz to 120 hz again until I found this video ty so much 🙏🏾
I did that , got 120 hz but I don’t see the setting , and I also don’t have advanced settings for controller does anyone know how to fix that

I did everything in the video and I don’t have the option for 120 fps pls help
Preciate that bro !! I had my xbox for 2 years and jusy been playing on 60 fps 😅😅
When i turn in 120hz my screen goes black and then changes it back to 60hz
your monitor aint over 120hz then
After i put it to 1080 the option for 120 hz doesnt pop up
Its blurry when will it be normal
I’m on a Xbox one and the option for 60hz or 120 hz wasn’t showing up
I don't see 120 fps mode and when I clicked on 120hz it went black and stayed on 60hz
Very helpful tysm
The setting to put it on isn’t there
Ik i cant see it
Try resetting ur console
Your tv probably doesn’t support it, it works for me though.
Nah I just got a aoc 240hz monitor for my series x until I get the rest of my pc and there’s no setting it also says I’m on 60fps (Fortnite not xbox settings) still. The gameplay however is insanely better then 60hz. The buttons actually listen to me 😂😂 but yea there no setting, they update Fortnite so much there probably was a setting for 2 days that got taken out.
thanks man, I heard that if you have your fps higher, then there is less delay
i tried this but it didnt work and also prevented me from switching back to 4k graphics after, any fix for that?
Hey, did you change video back to auto-detect under advanced settings?
@@ChadsGamingTips yeah, i did, but it only gave 1080p as the highest option
@@ChadsGamingTips dont worry, i found a fix
Will it work on the xbox one s as I have 165ghz monitor and every time illv put it too 120ghz it works then I go restart game and still no options 2 change it in fortnite but my monitor reading it at 120 please any help
i restarted my game and it worked, don’t know if you figured it out or not
Mine says recommend mode and it won’t work
I don’t see refresh rate under resolution
my xbox dosent give me the option to change the hz
Mine either
It says not optimum mode recommended mode 1920 1080 60hz
Bro i can run 300+ fps on pc with this monitor but when i click 120 on Xbox it doesn't work like what it says out of signal
Or it says energy saving right
@@manueltrevino3095 yea
The Xbox setting says that I can’t change to 120 hz
super helpful! thank you!
you have to restart it after
Thankyou this really helped x
It doesn’t show that option and I put 120hz mode on
What if it does not support 120hz?
For some reason on the video fiedelity part when I click HDMI it automatically goes back to auto detect
Can someone tell me why it’s not showing the setting in fortnite do I have to have series x or monitor any way I can get 120
My TV keeps glitching out I don’t know what’s happening with it if you can respond pretty fast please do
Bro my screen glitched out 😭 it won’t go back I can’t even see
Hi when i turn on 120hz and go back to fortnite it doesnt show up even though my monitor is 170hz lol
Same bro
Same brooo
Same here I’ve just gave up over 50 vids and none of them work😢
This is HUGE!!!!
Bummed that I don’t get 4K UHD this way but 120fps is well worth it!!!
It didn’t work for me
My monitor is 165hz and I’ve got a Xbox series s but it’s not working
Hi, I followed all the steps, got 120Hz on Xbox, returned to Fortnite, nothing 😐 . No choice for 120 fps.
I just got a new monitor 165Hz only for this, if it's not working I guess I will return.
What could cause the issue, any idea?
same thing for me i think its because were on old gen
Yep same here got a brand new 165 hz monitor that is capable of 120fps I’ve watched over 50 vids on how to do this I’ve tried everything possible and it just does not work but I’ve noticed for other games it does so it may just be Fortnite
Woah, this is crazy I went from 60 fps to 60 fps
It doesnt show refresh rate in settings
TYSM 😊
Bro you are my sunshine bro thank you ❤❤❤
Thank you so much man
But if im not running the really bad graphics is it gonna reach anywhere near 120 fps
How do you get your monster to support it
I didn’t get the refresh rate thing
Same
Refresh rate means fps for example 120 refresh rate = 120 fps (frames per second ) which enhances the in game performance
did you figure out how to do it?
I put it on and I still don’t see it on Fortnite
Thank you helped alot
love you bro it works
What if I don't have the option for the refresh rate tab
Mine didn’t switch to 120 😢
My refresh rate is not going up from 60 it flies back to 60hz and doesn’t change
Says I'm on 120fps in settings but on fortnite nothing
can somebody help me when i switched to 120 hz its starts to glitching.
It just disconnected from my tv
I did everything but I don’t get the 120 fps option in my settings. Someone know why? 🙏
Dude l was can always do this or it's comed out some month's ago ?
Thank you man👍
Why did it turn off my Xbox?
Thank you
My screen is black what do I do?
Doesnt let me change to hdmi, just changes it back to auto
This was a perfect video, and the instructions were right on point.
How do u get it to work I have a 180 hz monitor and 120 isn't working
@@TheAnimeWolfgaming same did you figure it out?
@@MRHAVIC69 yeah
Everything works fine it’s perfect all the options are available and it’s all enabled but it just doesn’t do 120 fps still 60
It worked but it still shows 60 FPS
Thanks bro
I don’t have the resolution option in Xbox settings
When I go to HDMI the TV goes blurry
Will it work on 75hz monitor?
If you do get it to run 120hz it will look like it only goes up to 75hz
bro i clicked on the 120 hz bc he said it was gonna go black i had a heart attack bro OML
Bro you are the best thank you
My monitor supports 240hz and I have a Xbox series s it supports it but doesn't on fortnite. :(
