Hey Paul! Loved the video. Great as always. I have the 77-inch C3. I don't have it mounted, but I have vaulted ceilings and thought the audio was just fine. Granted, I can't hear it when I'm on the side of the TV 15 feet away (due to the configuration) but when I'm 10 feet away straight ahead (where my couch is) it sounds great! Of course sound bars will sound better, but it's not the worst-sounding TV in the world.
Love the content. If these are the worst attributes to this TV then I'm still sold!! Funny, the risk of "burning", heck, you risk dropping it when you set it up LOL. Seriously tho, your reviews among many more convinced me to purchase one. I pick it up tomorrow. Cheers
Hi Paul! I’m new to this whole TV stuff and just recently learned about burn-in. Say I want to purchase a TV for video gaming, would you recommend this particular TV? I’ve been researching about TVs and honestly super impressed with the picture quality of OLED. However those burn-in risk scared me immensely since these TVs are definitely not cheap. Thanks!

It took around 6yrs of usage like that to get burn in. I guarantee you wont be using your C3 that way. You should be fine if you use it for gaming.
Nice review, with minimal tech speak and easy to understand language. I've been seeing nothing but glowing reports for this tv so it's important for me to see the other side, for balance. The sound was my main concern in this review and though no deal breaker I agree the box should be more appealing at this price point. Thumbed up.
Hi Paul I've got the. 48" lg oled evo c3 and lately I keep getting dimming flickering affect when I'm watching dolby vision content is there away to sort this out? Any help would be appreciated.
I've got the 55". The sound quality is far more than I need. You have to calibrate it for the acoustics of your room using the graphic equalizer and AI settings. The bass is more than enough to make my walls shake. Chance of burn in from DOGs can lessened by using the AI to find the DOGs on screen and to lower the brightness of the pixels in the relevant areas of the screen. I agree that the remote is nasty. Thankfully my old LG plasma remote operates most of the C3's functions, and to be honest, has far better functionality with play/pause/stop/FF/Rewind functions for the media player which the C3 remote doesn't have. I find the screen pointer to be unresponsive when I've used it which isn't much as I primarily use the TV as a monitor for my Sky box. My only major gripe is the C3's lack of ability to make the woefully low bitate BBC HD channels look any better than they actually are, but then I'm reminded that a pig with lippy on is still a pig. As I say, I agree with some of your points here, but much of the rest is finding fault where there really isn't any. I paid £919 for my C3. Best bargain of my life.
I got the 65 and wasn’t happy with it at all blown out highlights washed out colours, in both HDR and SDR intact the colours in SDR are all over the place was too bright greens, reds, etc etc I had to return it for a Samsung which I thought I’d never do but this Samsung s90c blows my mind how good it actually is compare to LG, when I got the LG I was coming from a old Samsung 2018 model, wanted to get away from Samsung but never happened like that the lg was huge disappointment especially when paying £1600 for a crappy experience no thanks lg the c3 was a lemon. The great C series was let down with the C3 The C4 came back with revenge that’s the one to go for.
