Passage of time. The SPO witnessed and embellished Sayaka's transformation: from the shy 18 year old amazing the crowd with her rendering of Tchaikovsky's violin concerto, with Maestro Yuri conducting, to this accomplished, beautiful woman still wowing them.The lady flutist is still there; as are most of the orchestra members I remember from all her concerts with the SPO.
Thank you Mr Temirkanov for mentoring the wonderful Sayaka.

I love the way she plays. I just heard her playing Tchaikovsky's violin concerto and the same thing occurs to me now - that she somehow dances her way through the music and has a great sense of fun. I enjoyed this so much. Thank you for posting :)

This superb protege has had not only as mentor Yuri Temirkanov but those in the orchestra still at the old stand from when I first saw the teenaged Sayaka perform Tchaikovsky's violin concerto with them. Having accommodated father Time myself I feel a great affinity for them and appreciate their comforting familiarity.
