There were a few problems with the old headlights: 1. The old headlights were difficult to aim as they were hidden inside of the footwell and hard to access. 2. We wanted to go to a more powerful light and were running into issues with cooling as there was no airflow over the lights in their old location. The solution was to go to a single, more powerful light mounted on the top of the cowling where it has good airflow for cooling and is easy to access for aiming.
I'm from India and my name is Melbin. I'm currently working on building an e-bike similar to the Electron model, but I'm on a tight budget. I've already created a 3D model using software, but I lack knowledge about the electric components. While I understand how it works conceptually, I'm unsure how to set up the electric system to meet my specific requirements. My main question is whether your e-bike uses a pedal generator motor system or a traditional chain-to-wheel drive system, and which one is considered the better option for my project?
Watch every video about this bike you can find searching 'electrom' on youtube, I saw in one of them it was shown that the user's pedaling gets split and sent to both a generator and a chain to wheel drive, I'm not an engineer so I don't know how it works but I definitely saw it visualized in one of the videos.
Actually an off-road version would be pretty much the same, just with less bodywork to break in a crash. The tires and suspension are pretty well suited to off-road as is.
Very nice.
I like the new design overall, I'm just a little curious as to the change in the headlight configuration.

👍
Could you do a more offroad versión? It's a great procjet, contratulations

So where is it legal to ride your motorcycle?
Hi Brian, the Electrom qualifies as an e-bike in most jurisdictions so can go wherever an e-bike can go in those areas.
