- I produced and directed the documentary "The Mother of Mohiniyattom" in 1999 as a tribute to the remarkable contributions of Smt. Kalamandalam Kalyani Kuttyamma to the art of Mohiniyattom. This 45-minute film aims to honor her pivotal role in nurturing and advancing this beautiful art form. The title, "The Mother of Mohiniyattom," encapsulates the essence of her influence and dedication.
During the production, I painstakingly shot live footage and delved deep into the history and evolution of Mohiniyattom. I am proud to say that this documentary offers a comprehensive exploration that, to my knowledge, has not been paralleled.
I must extend my gratitude to Smt. Kalyani Kuttyamma's daughters, Smt. Sreedevi and Kala, whose cooperation was invaluable in bringing this project to fruition. Additionally, I am thankful to all those who participated in the making of this film.
Amidst the current controversies surrounding Mohiniyattom, I urge my audience to view "The Mother of Mohiniyattom" on TH-cam. Through this film, viewers can gain insight into the evolution of this art form and appreciate the profound impact of Smt. Kalyani Kuttyamma's legacy.

അവസാനം മോഹിനിയാട്ടം എന്ന കലാരൂപത്തിൻ്റെ രൂപകർത്താവ് ആയി മോഹിനിയാട്ട നൃത്ത രൂപത്തിൻ്റെ പഠന-പരിശീലന - പ്രയോഗ വിധികൾ നിർണ്ണയിച്ച്, അതെല്ലാം സംബന്ധിച്ച ആധികാരികങ്ങളായ ഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങൾ രചിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത് മോഹിനിയാട്ടത്തെ ഒരു സമ്പൂർണ്ണ കലാരൂപമാക്കി മാറ്റീയത്തിലൂടെ സ്വന്തം ജീവിതം പോലും ധന്യമാക്കുകയും, അനേകം പേർക്ക് പ്രചോദനമാകുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന മഹത്വ്യക്തിത്വം.. കലാമണ്ഡലം കല്യാണിക്കുട്ടി അമ്മ. ആ മഹത് വ്യക്തിത്വത്തിന് മുൻപിൽ സാദര നമസ്കാരം..
