Even though Saeko was the dirty cop, let alone using Ryo from throughout the entire franchise series. It is the same with a spin-off series titled Angel Heart. Angel Heart is the series takes place in a universe parallel to City Hunter, where the character of Kaori Makimura is killed and her heart transplanted into Xiang-Ying, Angel Heart's protagonist. In the 36th episode of Angel Heart, Saeko was having a dream of having the family with Ryo. But that dream never came true into reality. It was all just the fantasy. But in the end, Ryo and Saeko will always be together as partners no matter what happens. No matter what. No matter when. But only thing will tell.
