Hi there! I’m starting uni this September and I would love to work as a student ambassador. How should I apply and when can I? Also, I’m going to be at UWL

Hi Tiffany! Thanks for your question. The next round of Student Ambassador recruitment will take place in October. You can keep an eye out for the job advert on jobs.uwl.ac.uk/ or via Blackboard which is our student portal. Looking forward to seeing you soon but until then, enjoy your summer :)

how many hours a week do you get to work in maximum?
what is the pay rate? ( you don't have to answer this if you find it inappropriate )

Hi Tanvir! Thanks for your question. The great thing about being an Ambassador, is that you choose what hours you work. There are some months throughout the year (particularly in summer) when you could choose to work every day during Clearing. However, if you can only work a couple of events per month, that's fine. In terms of the pay rate, you're best off emailing ambassadors@uwl.ac.uk for the most recent information. Thanks :)
