I have a video lesson talking about Embouchure and Posture that covers a lot of this I believe. The of the mouth and the airstream do have to be slightly adjusted as you enter the higher registers.
you need to control your lips and tongues, and when hitting the high notes, your belly button( actually under it) shoud push inward, that's why you need to inhale deep. that needs practice, come on! 加油！
Your skill with the xiao is very impressive and i probably wouldn't be able to learn it if it wasn't for this channel. I'm thinking about buying a better xiao in F but how much more difficult is it to play compared to G?

What is the fingering for 4, please? I am practicing your drills, but can't find out 4.
From the bottom of the xiao (OXOO XXX O) or (OXOO OXO O) may work as well if the pitch is not sharp enough.

I still don't understand the pitch change from low to high. When I play I just do same sounds even tho I follow the scale. Is it to do with breathing?

From what I know, the holes will be spaced a bit further apart, which could be uncomfortable if you have smaller hands.
not difficult at all , just a little heavier. and you have to strech your finger's ligament， after one month, you will play it fluently.
