one word but a meaningful one -- DITTO! Thank you from Vancouver, Canada. Took a couple weeks to make any sound out of my dong xiao and many videos later, I can finally play a short scale consistently and therefore ready to take advantage of way more of the info and tools you have put on this channel and through your community. Future goals include learning Guqin too and so learning Jianpu, I'm getting a head start on that too. Also, my main instrument is alto saxophone and it's very hard to find traditional chinese and martial arts / meditation / sacred ikaros etc style music sheets / pdfs / when you don't read chinese characters and even though it would be simpler if I could find the songs on youtube as playalongs with or without pdfs in standard musical notation, since you have written many out in jianpu, I can still use that to transpose to Eb Saxophone and rewrite the tracks to be able to try them on my main instrument too. Thank you!
