- Whats up doers, In this video ( that I shot and edited at 4am lol ) I showcase a simple but very effective Pillager Outpost Farm. Use this to get bad omen then fly over to your raid farm to trigger a raid!
This pillager farm gets you Bad Omen pretty quick, is consistent, efficient and literally never stop producing Pillagers for you!!

Works in 1.20.1, but replace the 3 thin black glass panes at the bottom of the iron golems to fence posts. The glass panes don’t stop the arrows and they’ll die
It’s also a bit annoying to get the back fence in if you’re trying to do it after you put the golem in, but to make it super easy you can just use a piston to push it in place

This is a bit of a long one! But its worth it! I did this at 4am and edited it by 5:30am before work lol
If I were to redo anything from this build it would be to do the golems and the ground water very last.
Set everything up first: Tunnels, Shaft, AFK area complete, Soul Sand Elevator AND then I would put the golems in and finish the water last!
Once those golems are in place shit hits the fan real quick!

i love this, recommend burning down the pillager outpost tho, much faster and much much much more fun xd, if you have an elytra just burn the thing and watch it from above.

For anyone making this and having pillagers get stuck on the fence posts and the bottom of the bubble elevator just break the blocks under those fence posts and the pillagers will no longer get stuck👍

If the pillagers are getting stuck at the bottom of the bubble elevator, replace the fences with trapdoors

Word of advice: if you decide to go with this bad omen farm make sure you put iron golems in last. It's a bit harder but I put mine in before and all the golems died. It also help s if you have an iron farm like me so you don't have to worry about building them

Hey just wondering why the pillagers don't go for the golems when am up there
They do but they get funneled up to the killing chamber
Dunno if anyone mentioned these yet but just for safety to our iron golems place leaves as floor inside so they won't spawn directly next to the golems and use fences instead of gates cuz they can still push through sometimes

If you don't mind me asking what is your render distance at that you can see all the pillagers at from all the way up at your AFK spot
also just an fyi instead of fences on the magma blocks I put stone brick walls i don't know if that makes any differance

@@PCHSwS as intended. I built it with a water elevator but way better than this. No Magma, i can turn it on and off and it's 10 times faster because the pillagers never get stuck. I had to do a lot of testing. Forget about the fence posts, use 2 closed fence gates on one side, and on the other you place 4 walls starting from the same level. 1 pillager will get stuck, you can hardly avoid that, but he will push all the others up. The iron golem is also in the wrong place. I made the elevator 3 by 3, made 4 pillager traps 3 by 3 right outside the outpost, iron golem standing on top slab with 2.5 blocks space underneath standing centered on 1 block outside, so replace some of the outpost wall with glass panes. finally make a 73 bx 73 flat platform centered on the center of the outpost, use buttons and shovel to mob-proof every block where pillagers cannot immediately see the iron golem, and boom you have 95% efficiency in a server friendly design which is perfect
@@nesletchimaew9209 This video is like a fever dream, I put it on mute and watched it on 2x speed as well as scrubbed past all the pointless parts and I still feel like I wasted my time at the end, sum the whole video up as "attract them to a water stream with iron golems and elevate them to where the player sits such that the despawn sphere leaves the mob cap mostly for pillagers, oh and here is an awful way to do those things and take way too long to do them."
Quick question does this design work for bedrock edition? I found 3 outposts and all 3 are less than 200 blocks from each other

the mobs are getting stuck in the elevator fences(and slab), what should i do?
the pillagers shoot the golems. they stand on the magma block and shoot them lmao, not all do but a golem has died sadly and im stumped on a fix :(
Make sure there isnt snow along the edges of the magma blocks. Line the magma blocks with glowstone so snow doesnt spawn

do you have to go 120 up
im at 194 and it seems a bit too high
its been 8 months but Im still going to respond, 120 is better because that means that the pillagers cant spawn in any caves and get stuck. unless there are caves in a 128 block radius under you, 120 should be fine.

Is the glass necessary? I feel like it's a lot of prep just for a tube and a platform.
Also, you need much more water than is listed in the beginning.
Can confirm this still works 1/09/23 BEDROCK ASWELL!, just have to build it around 60/80 blocks

If you do the basic drop death illager farm using the tower you just add water at the bottom to convert it back and forth from a bad omen farm to a arrow farm. Only requires 16 trap doors 1 double chest 1 hopper and 2 stacks of building blocks
IDK why but mine keeps getting stuck to many of them are spawning
Why is the platform so high? If I stood on the top of the pillager outpost before I tore it down, I would get tons of Pillagers coming at me. So why do I have have to do high?
You will want to use this farm before 1.16.2 is released to find a stacked Multi-Shot I/Piercing I Crossbow. These are very rare ( 1/409,000) and powerful, and you will not be able to find them after the update. Check out Ray's Works Snapshot video today for more info. GL/GH!

if you have a raid farm then getting bad omen quickly is very important
if the 20 block radius of the outpost pillager is close to a mountain, would it have to destroy the mountain? or only up to the radius of 20 blocks with a height of 3 or 4 blocks?
flatten out the radius i wouldnt destro the whole area but maybe like 25 blocks from outpost to mountain that way you have wiggle room for spawns. time consuming but needs must eh

The pillagers keep getting inside of the magma blocks, I didn’t add the wall to protect it and the water, what’s wrong?

But after the soul sand shoot, at the part where they start to flow down at the really top, they keep getting stuck, what’s wrong?
If the horizontal tunnel after the elevator is too long then they’ll get stuck. Also make sure the water is well positioned. You’ve done most of the job good luck for the end :)
i would recommend building a trident killer
Trident killers only work on bedrock and they were broken in the last update . At least the 2 designs I used were broken

Just build one out of the outpost it self was very easy and I've got alot of raids out of it

CHANGE THE WHOLE FLOOR TO ANOTHER TYPE OF BLOCK.
It does work, if you’re in plains, change it all to cobblestone. Nothing will spawn. However it’s annoying to build and destroy at the end
only use farm during the day cause skeletons will kill the iron golem
You can also make this a raid farm by simply making a villager chamber I think, if the pillagers get trapped why not the raid pillagers (although I don't know about ravagers

Where this farm should be located... I mean does it requires to be near a pillager outpost...or can be build on any place

but were in survival and we cant get to the afk place cause we cant fly before elytra and the detection radius of pillagersis too low but othor than a few bugs it works fine.

Can’t you just put one villager on the glass roof for hero of the village? And does it work in 1.15.2/1.16?
it's made so that you can farm bad omen FOR the hero of the village, if there was a villager then the raid could start up at level 1, and the farm is made so that you can easily get level 4, something like that
So I ded this and the water doesn't go further than like 2/3 blocks around the corner
Yo if the pillagers are getting stuck make change the glass blocks above the two fences to all iron bars And put leads on the iron golem to draw them away from the tower

im doing this in 1.18... I dont know if it is because of the height map change, but the pillagers dont run into the farm while im standing above them. Any fixes?

i dont think it exactly matters, if you make sure your afk area is 96+ blocks above the pillager spawning platform

@@Tomato5706 That wont matter. The bounding box of the pillager outpost will still be there no matter if the actual outpost is there or not.
Try leaving and comeing back. Mobs can't spawn withing 24 blocks of the player so maybe you were too close to the outpost so they couldn't spawn.
