Hearing that this is the first Rondo ceiling you've done makes me feel a lot better. I moved down to Invercargill recently from Auckland, and most of my work experience was renovations, reclads or maintenance; which meant that younger guys I'm working with now had more experience than me...
But if someone who's got maybe 7 years on me in the business is just doing his first one, then I'm probably not doing too badly.

I cannot imagine anyone here in Canada going to the trouble you have gone to, to renovate your home. Jess keeps up the interest. What a wonderful positive person she is. The result will be wonderful, well deserved.
I'm sure Scott has had time to polish his editing skills over the past few years, but the boy has chops! Somehow Scott captures a whimsical, story telling yet practical and informative process. Love Ray and Jess too, I'll say nice things about them in future videos!

The sheet lifts are great, makes a horrible job easy. So many plasterers, here in Australia, don't use them. Instead they struggle with 3 - 4 plasterers on a long sheet. There's a way to use them for the top sheet, on a wall too.

Great job. I like the touch of adhesive on the joist plus the backer board at a tricky joint. Those are the details that make everything a bit better.
Back-blocking with panel adhesive isn't the best way of doing it. Should be done with the joint in the middle of the ceiling battens with an offcut applied with some Cove adhesive, then bowed up 1-2mm to create a taper.

Socket and switch box holes in plywood or plasterboard: have a block the size you want to cut; use multicutter with blade against the block to give nice straight square plunges. Fast and neat

I think it would look awesome to do the plywood walls in your home like in episode 175. Loved the look of that.

Make sure you tell the gib stopper he will be back in 12 months to fix all those cracked joins in the ceiling gib. We install it as per the manufacturer specs. And it still cracks.... sometimes. Hate to think whats going to happen on those ceiling joins done with glue and ply. Should be done with cove bond, sheet off cuts for back blocks and with battens to hold them with a 2-3 mm deflection to take the plaster and tape.
insul fluff is the bane of my existance as a sparky! glad to see it go!
