Story 3 is so unbelievable that I have to believe it. If it was a lie, it'd be much more realistic. That's actually an insane number of coincidences, borderline divine intervention.

Story 2. The body shaming on TOP of the actual cheating and the very likely planned murder he was going to commit if OP stayed. What a piece of work, not even mentioning the very likely grooming he was doing since OP was 17 and he probably knew her before that (so 16 or younger) disgusting

It's really really hard to get confidence back after hearing their excuses for why you weren't satisfying enough for them but time heals when you can open yourself up to learn to love yourself and become more confident because there's someone out there that sees you as their angel that fell from heaven. It's hard to trust again and hard to believe in love after repeated cases but it gets easier over time, especially if you can find someone who really makes you feel like you're radiating.
It's okay to take time to heal and set boundaries around how intimate and how much commitment you can put in but def don't rush yourself to go headfirst!

I always feel sooo bad when loyal people get cheated on.. i have never been cheated on nor have i cheated, im also loyal..but i become scared to get into any new relationships since after highschool after seeing how much damage it done to some of my friends bc they are super loyal loving caring most feminine women i know, get cheated on just because..for no reason other than their ex-es just felt like it or just attractions.. i really hope you find the courage to open up again when someone comes into your life and seem genuine..even if they turn up to not be genuine, just know that it is not your fault..fear is common..even i have fears of it when i never experienced it.. but at the same time, there is no rush, dont force yourself at this time if you still feel not ready.. your inner peace is more important.. it takes time to heal, some people can even take decade to heal.. may we all find peace and heal from past and become strong minded and strong hearted to face the future ❤

I came home, with our then 17 yr old son, on a night where it had been planned that we would be staying the night with friends, said plans fell through, so my son and I came home early..My son walked in the house first and I heard him say "Who the "F' are you?!' His little tart was in our home, alone! Hubby had gone to get gas station sushi, and the look on his face...
Edit: We'd been married for 18 years at that point and, once he admitted to the tart, he then proceeds to tell me he'd actually been cheating on me for 6 years. Told me he never loved me and only stayed with us because it was cheaper to live. The worst was he told me that he loved her the way I loved him. We are still together, but only until I can afford to be on my own. My love for him is nearly gone now, but I pity him, she doesn't love him the way he loves her...and she sleeps around on him.

Relative of mine found out because her husband was in pretty serious car wreck, with his side piece and while he was supposed to be at work. Bastard lost some fingers, got sorta branded for life. They stayed together, I have later figured out he was likely an abuser.
Other relative figured her guy was cheating, when she kept smelling unfamiliar perfume in their home, always when she came home. One day she pretended to leave for work and it didnt take long for the perfume girl to appear. She busted thru dead bolted door and caught them right there, it was epic in every possible way. Sadly she married this waste of air later, dude is one of my least favorite people and she is very dear to me.

You are not wrong by the way. It IS risky. If it works for some people that’s fine but I can’t see myself getting married too young, there’s just too many bad possibilities. Not saying that getting married doesn’t older changes or lessens the risk at all but it seems like things fall out more often with young couples.

Story 2. Yeah getting married young is risky as hell. I took the risk of marrying someone when I was 20 and he was 23. We had known each other for like 6 months before we got engaged and married 2 or 3 months later. We were both in the Navy too. Long story short, we have been married for almost 10 years and I'm currently watching our 5 month old munching on her fingers and smiling at me 😘 It sometimes works out and in our case it did.

    Oh goodness....
I'm female for the record. A few years ago, I had a really adorable girlfriend. She was shy and cute, but would happily do stuff with me if I managed to get her over. After almost a year, our relationship strained a little because I was always the one making plans or wanting to see her, nothing came from her side. I told her we should take a break, think things over. Not a breakup, we were still together.
After a few weeks, she sends me a message on discord. Something about how she had to tell me something, but I had to promise to not get angry (red flag!!!!!!!!). I tell her I wouldn't yell at her. She says she hooked up with a guy. forgivable, I guess, since she's being upfront about it.... But then says it's the guy who she KNEW harassed me in high school.
I kept my promise, I didn't yell. I blocked her

@@Undomaranel its a normal way notorious cheaters justify what they do so its really nothing new. cheaters - at least majority of them are narcs. These people unconciously thinks people as nothing but disposable things. They live on "self-glorification"and "self-importance" and as long as their chosen partner is feeding them this - they are content. Once that benifit is gone or got found out - majority of them jump ship without regret because they are simply leaving a disposable thing who in their unconcious mind does not deserve their glorious self. Was with a girl for 4 years, engaged for 2. Started having some issues when I got a new job that had me work weird hours, and we also got a roommate who was a friend of mine. About a week before the wedding, I found out that they were having sex when I was out at work late. I left, got a new place and lived solo for a while, and she and him became a couple. They broke up when she found out he was sleeping with their roommates girlfriend (some habits die hard I guess) and she left the state. He ended up marrying the girl he was cheating on my ex with, and she ended up cheating on him, so karma was served

Don't feel bad about the married young comment. I know two people who married or are getting married young and it's nothing but red flags and issues constantly. One got married to escape her overbearing mom, only to become a mom to her husband. The other was basically groomed in a bad place in life by a church leader and the stories I hear from her sister and mom are heartbreaking. Her dad is letting it happen because he's best friends with the guy. I'm sure it works out for some, but so far the only thing I've witnessed is bad stuff or a nice honeymoon phase before people split.

Their car was just fine, everyone understood he just liked doing stuff with it as he loved mechanic work, but all of a sudden, every day, all the time. He stopped coming home for the night, stopped eating what mom made and eventually started bringing home made food in jars. None of us would eat it, only him. When I was a teen my friend told me she sees my father from time to time with different women acting "very friendly". At the same time he was abusing us at home. Now my parents are separated for a few years, my mother is with a man who waits for his divorce to be finalized and my father is with a woman who cheats on her husband with him. One weekend when kiddo was about 3 he came home talking about 'the baby', how he loved it, he wanted to see it again. She didn't think much of it until a couple days later when dad got tagged in a random lady's facebook pic. Long story short. Kid was about 11 months and DEFINITELY his, very distinctive features, meaning he had done the deed while they were still together. Neither he nor kiddo brought up the baby again so she assumes he separated from the other baby mama too. Still, she wonders how long it had been going on and how many half siblings her son has running around.

My besties partner cheated on her and she found out when she was in labour as the hospital did a blood test and it came back positive with an STD.
    They are no longer together.
