  • In this video I'll show you how to simply create your own 3-piece loungewear set using soft knit fabric. Here are the materials I used:
    -2 Yards of knit fabric, the softer and cozier the better! (You'll need more or less depending on your size)
    -Ballpoint needle to sew knit fabric on your sewing machine
    -1 inch elastic for the waistband
    -Sewing machine + Serger (optional)

    This is so helpful! I finally found some workout pants to wear for my tap classes but I want more than one pair so this is super helpful in figuring out how to make more of what I already have that fit. And I love the cardigan!

    That is seriously CUTE! You made it look so easy to do, so I'm going to try the top, but longer with sleeves (I'm a little older than you...ok,ok,ok a lot older, so showing my midriff would scare some folk), and the trousers! Pray to the sewing Gods for me, my sewing machine is playing up at the moment, I need all the help I can get!

    Great job on this set! Now I wanna make 2 sets that coordinate with each other (one in black and one in red for some Harley Quinn vibes) to make some mix and match outfits so I could have a different look at different times of day. So there would be an outfit for morning, afternoon, and evening.

    I have a couple of questions!
    First, how do we know how much space we should have between our triangles for the cardigan?
    And second, what's a stabilizer?
    Thank you!

    • @amber1403
      @amber1403 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To figure out the spacing I just usually clip the fabric together and try it on until it looks how I want the finish product. As far as stabalizer it's also called interfacing and it's something you add to help keep the shape of the fabric while you sew. Look up knit interfacing and it should give you a few options. It should be lightweight because you dont want your fabric to be stiff. Hope that helps.
