I was thinking today of how I hold myself back and how I can be happy now rather than in the future. By synchronicity I came across this video. Wow, your speech and story is exactly what I needed to hear today! To know we do not need to limit ourselves by the circumstances we are put in but we can open ourselves up to our potential if we use our adversities as our privileges to live out our very best lives. Thank you for sharing your story! Wonderful speech and I hope you feel proud of yourself!

I came across a picture of yours, around 2019, in which you were swimming in Bali or some other paradise on earth. Those deep eyes struck me and I started following your Instagram account since that day. I became a fan of your work.
Wrongly I assumed you had a very privileged life having no idea of the tough life you had growing up. This Ted talk is a wonderful way to know you a little bit better. Your life does inspire others like myself to be and do better each day.
Hope one day we meet in person 🙏🙏

Naila I cried listening to this. Proud of what you’ve achieved is an understatement. You are teaching every little child out there that they can do this too. Amazing talk x

Watching you prepare for this talking over so many weeks and seeing you grow with confidence of your preparation in doing so, has been incredible. I never imagined how confident and strong you’d be telling your story on a stage of thousands and couldn’t be happier that you chose to tell it in this way. As someone who’s fairly close to you and knows how heavy your shoulders can feel with what you carry daily, you should feel extremely proud to have made others feel just that bit lighter. Well done

I follow you for some time now. Had no idea of your background. I now understand why you are so driven to do things right in your life. To be your best for yourself and others in your life. You are a very smart woman. That is your privilige. Great speech!
