That moment will undoubtedly remain frozen in time! We're have the 26 years gone since! So hard to believe! I remember exactly where I was when Morris went yard! Working concessions and tickets for the minor league Hickory Crawdads that afternoon and they had the game on a concourse TV! I'm now 50 but that dramatic HR from a guy who wasn't known for his power in getting just enough of it has stayed timeless

Sean McDonough called on two walk-off home runs to clinch a title. (Joe Carter for the 1993 World Series, and Warren Morris for the 1996 College World Series)

Cora: I just won the CWS!!!!
    Morris: Hold my beer.

Two evenly matched, very talented teams. LSU simply willed its way to victory. Warren Morris was remarkable the entire game but it was definitely a team win. A game for the ages.

Please note the comments by the broadcasters at ~ 2:10 - 2:11 mark regarding Morris's hitting and slugging strength. How ironic, odd and funny.

SOooooo satisfying, after all of Cora's antics and trying to control everything, to see him laid out while Warren circles the bases!!!! :)

Mann first pitch too. 20 seconds earlier Miami players have 1 finger up to signal just 1 out left. Just one pitch later and Morris slaps the championship winner in the blink of an eye. From euphoria to agony in .2 seconds for Miami . What a game.

2:35:59 is what you're here for... unless you're a Miami fan.

Hitting .489 as a freshman is ridiculous. I always remember Burrell leading the nation in batting avg but I didn’t remember it was that high

2:36:19 it was at this point that Alex Cora determined he would need to cheat to win championships

It was obvious, at least to me, that the announcer was clearly expecting Miami to win and win big. He appeared to be condescending towards LSU.

You know, this game is exactly as the old superstition is n baseball. If you are the visitor, and you score in the first inning, this is considered a bad omen.
