The first moment I saw those screws, I said those are going to SUCK, LOL! I don't think people realize just how difficult it is to grab a screw head with vice-grips! I can hear your frustration each time they slipped off🤣🤣 That fluid fill is COOL!
Fluid film is pretty good stuff. Ran across it maybe from another channel. I think there are another 2 similar products on the market. That screw will come out easy next time.
You inspired me to have a set of vise grips sharpened just for that purpose. Like grind the tips of the jaws so that they are angled a bit and really can bite into those screw heads. Nice video Uncle Mark - thanks again 👍🛠😊
Ah, good point! Every video I do I learn something to include on the next one. Thanks for pointing that out. It did come on and she (the owner) was happy I got fixed.
I was shocked that this was the way to access them as well. I thought I was going to have to remove the complete fender liner like many vehicles. This design makes it so simple. Thanks for stopping by, Stephen.
Thanks so much for your concern. The widow that owns this car has since got the tires replaced! Glad you noticed as I just replaced the bulb for her but didn't look over the car. (She was waiting and in a hurry as I did this)
Video sucks. Which bulb are you changing -your not even showing the front of the freaking car with the bulb out for some kind of context! Not sure if this is the one I need to change or not. Get an editor!
From your comment, I think you should take your vehicle to a mechanic! Your the 1st person to complain as well. So I thought maybe I should see what YOUR VIDEOS are edited like. Oh, in 11 years you have not made even 1? Probably scared to fail! I know, you can't fail if you don't try.

Dielectric grease is always a good idea when replacing bulbs
Great Vid Bro
Thanks, MarkH. Dielectric grease a great suggestion.

Your idea is igneous! Maybe design and patient it!
@@unclemarksdiyauto so ingenious that they've already been invented. They're called long nose or needle nose vise grips or locking pliers 🤕😲🧐🤔.
@@dennyharris9569 LOL! Thanks for watching.
Great video
Thanks so much, Deborah! Hopefully a few more videos to come on this Buick.
Good luck with the parking light bulb. I am still trying to get it back in.
It is a tough one for sure!
Thank you
No problem, Robert. They are fairly easy to replace.
Sometimes a square tip bit will grab better in a Phillips screw head.
I will have to try that tip! Thanks Thomas!
You didn't show it turning on...afterwards

Those are Torx screws. T20
Actually if you are talking about the inner plastic fender wheel screws, look again @ 1:16. Phillips for sure on this Canadian SUV.
Torx on my 2011 also...and mine also has 2 more torx on the air dam
@@nobull8544 I would think the Torx would give a better coupling to grab and turn the fastener! Thanks for the updated info!
Thanks ... I had no idea how to change my bulb. Wtf eh

Those tires are horribly dry rotted and could be very dangerous. They need to be replaced.

Don't say anything good about Fluid Film or they will put the price up.
I don’t have that kind of pill, but yes, I know what you mean.

I would have liked to see the bulb actually working after you finished the job and how you turn this light on and off.
