No, not just you. I still have flare-ups of picking under times of stress, but my dermatillomania has gotten so much better since I started watching pimple popping vids.

Picking my bumps or ingrown hairs becomes obsessive for me. Since I started watching these videos daily I almost never pick anymore. This is 100% therapeutic for many people (myself included)!!
I am a habitual skin picker and let me say this-Since watching these vids I too notice that my urge to pick is far less than before. Early Childhood trauma made me more anxious than most people. Skin picking is a coping mechanism when facing a fight or flight situations. Could be skin picking is brought under control when the brain releases higher dopamine levels so the ability to remain calm under distress is easier. I’ve also watched monkey videos of abused monkeys and they exhibit similar coping mechanisms to humans. It made me aware of the root source of the skin picking urge. If watching these vids helps one to pick less then I say keep watching!

It's always funny when ppl think the poppers in these video are trained license professionals lol.. and believe this is the proper way to treat acne..
Wow, ppl will believe anything... No licensed trained professional treats acne like this. For many reason this is all wrong it's not the correct way to treat acne. First of all, the gloves aren't made for putting extraction pus and blood all on them. The Gloves are for keeping things clean and sanitary also protection for the tech and client. So that why there is so many complaints about the gloves. Second, Stabbing deep with a blade is another complaint you see alot. Thats because in most countries only a doctor is allowed to cut or puncture the skin because a doctor knows there's many nerves in the face and if you stab cut to deep or in the wrong spot it could cause Permanent damage the person's face. I could go on about the reasons these unlicensed untrained poppers get a lot of complaints.
Vietnam has very relaxed laws regulations and requirements on pimple popping. They really don't need any training or experience to pop pimples from what I understand from my Vietnamese roomate and have read some negative information about these popping spas. I like watching good pops but I do feel bad for the client because I believe they aren't getting good acne treatment. I do like seeing how many and how big some of the pimples are on these faces so I watch but I know this isn't good for the face nor will it cure acne. the popper can pop every pimple on the clients face and it make look better but it's short lived. That's because the acne will come back because there's no treatment for the root causes of the acne so the acne continues to come back... Hope this helped you to understand why there so many negative comments. Most ppl are trying to either give advice or they are defending the client because they're not getting good acne treatment...

Its nothing less than mind-boggling as it relates to how much debris can be hidden underneath the skin. They remove so much that its no wonder these people's faces don't collapse or shrink after all of it is removed. It's fascinating. I am not sure how these patients feel after their treatment but I would imagine they feel better with it out vs. still in their face.

Absolutely! I enjoy reading a lot of the comments for this reason! My kids sometimes watch with me (I call them "doctor videos"), and we talk together about how much better the client will feel afterward. These are helping videos, for sure.
It looks that some areas of patient's skin is getting infected. All I wud like to suggest is that after any such procedure, application of Mercorochrome is very effective. It is very effective in controlling those infection for which the areas kooks red.

People do not complain, its just that many people leave suggestions that are mostly taken on board,so the people who are doing the extractions know how to be using a certain suggested idea on the next videos.Nobody has been nasty just hopefully helpful.

She is a trained professional in her country. I doubt she needs any advice from TH-cam viewers. I've never seen anywhere where she is soliciting critique on her methods.

This is where the pores are so clogged they begin to harden under the skin. When she lances it it hardly moves. This person is going to have to treat their face so it doesn’t get that clogged and harden. Well done Thuy this is brutal on the fingers to get these puppies out!

I read on one of her videos that when she first started filming she did the washing steps but people complained so she quit filming that part....go back to her really early vids to see that process...hope that helps...

These are the strangest looking acne I have ever come across! Most of them are in some sort of ‘sheath’ with a particularly large ‘blackhead’ but are far under the skin, not like normal blackheads whose tops sit on top of the skin - certainly not like these which remind me of Egyptian mummies all wrapped up!! Great extraction as always though Thuy! Thank you♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I wonder if the 'blackheads' under the skin are tiny hairs or something. Acne happens at hair follicles, so sometimes hairs get stuck inside closed ones aka whiteheads.
Mine are like this, the pore opening on the surface is small but inside it is larger and fills up, oxidises (blackens) at the top and the pore forms a skin around the blackhead to protect itself (like a mini cyst with an open top).
They remind me more of boogers than acne.

All I can tell you is that it's split into three viewings. They are of each cheek/side of face and then the temple and forehead areas.
