+DreamcastGuy I recently finished the full dreamcast collection too. It was really tough finding some of the rare ones on the cheap. But its an awesome system for SHMUPs, which im getting really into now.

Seriously ... might I suggest a girlfriend? Even MJ was like “why would you go for a complete wii collection” dude has the slumber party games in his collection.
I only have about 20-30 PS2 games. Growing up in a low income household, I had to sell a lot of my PS2 games to get new ones. Only really held on to the ones I absolutely adored, and most of those are parts of a franchise. What annoys me most is that almost all the games got released in some sort of PS3 'HD Remastered' collection, so I wish I held on to some different games that never got the HD treatment since now I just kinda own most of the games twice -.-
+Tao same here for me. I grew up playing many ps2 titles because me, my 2 brothers and dad loved the console. however, I've been repurchasing a lot of titles. I regularly scout out charity shops and scrapstores. even my friends and family have picked up games for me that cost them a quid. I have over 200 ps2 titles and when I started I probably had 30. I would suggest scouting out any places you know of.
There was a couple of years ago a trick to modify your steam library and you had all the games in your library. You couldnt download them but it looked pretty awesome
I always like to see cool, humble guys like Kacy talk about their huge collections. Nice work. I've thought about Wii collecting, but man there are only so many iCarlys and Chicken Shoots I could stand to bring home when I still need good ones like Punch Out and Fire Emblem RD.

+ImTheMan0fSteel Sometimes those shovelware games are fun to play and laugh at with friends during game night. But you are right, there are a ton of shovelware. At least, It makes me appreciate the better games on the Wii lol
+ImTheMan0fSteel Since the WiiU is backwards compatible, I just keep my Wii hooked up for playing Gamecube games since I don't want to drop $200 on GC component cables. Most of the Wii games I actually liked are first party. Other than that, I liked Xenoblade, Zack and Wiki, Resident Evil 4, and Ghost Squad. I heard Pandora's Tower and Last Story are great as well, but have played them yet.
Saw a stack of El Chavo's at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo this year...probably should have picked one up. Instead I went to a panel discussion with some long-haired metal guy.
The wii itself actually has a lot of gems and hard-core serious games. A lot of people don't realise this. Some saw the wii as a gimmick family console but it has so many serious gamer type games. Awesome system to collect for with a wide amount of different types of games.

Name another console that can top that? P.S - How about that all Star Trek games episode you mentioned you were thinking of doing back in one of your older clips?
+Raab604 Yeah having a modded wii to play the retro games is a must. Especially for Neo Geo and TurboGrafx, since physical copies of those games rarely pop up in the wild.
Growing up my dads underwear was a major fascination of mine so once I got old enough I decided to get a complete collection of my dads dirty underwear.
What the hell do these kind of people do for a living?! He said he started collecting wii because “I was looking for the next set to go for!” And has complete GC and N64 collections?!
Excellent Wii collection. I'd naturally think completing the entire Wii U collection would be next on his list, especially since there's a new Nintendo system looming in the distance and he loves Nintendo. Great video as always, Metal Jesus.
I wonder what this guy does for a living. Even if he got all of his games for cheap it still would cost a lot for all of those complete collections. Pretty impressive for a young guy.
+Jolly Yeah but I'm taking into account brand new games that he would've bought at the time before he started collecting. So say he bought about 25 brand new games at $40. That's an extra $1000. He must've also bought a lot of rare shit for the console like that $200 bike thing he mentioned. And remember, Wii had a lot of fitness games that came with extra accessories, so that would make the overall game more expensive. That's why I said less then 8k to be safe
+miniontm69 lol harsh joke there bruh, there are far more games worth playing on the wii than 3, but i can say there is indeed more shovelware than there is great games for it.
Been following you for a long time now MJR, and just have to say that your videos are awesome. I have very little interest in the Wii console but I still enjoyed this video. Keep it up! And please do post more videos of your vinyl collection, really like those videos. We have kind of the same taste in music so really enjoy those! :) Big thumbs up and greetings from Sweden!
4$ a game. so basically around 4 grand for a whole collection. not bad actually. still not wasting my money on this. but its so fun watching all these collectors show off the older games and stuff.
With as many games as I buy every month, I could easily collect every Wii Game if I just centered all of my attention on the WIi. But I don't want to ignore my many other consoles that I love so much. My biggest collection is my NES games. I have 772.
Bought my Wii in 2009, first game I got with it was COD Modern Warfare Reflex Edition. That FPS and Wii Sports really sold me on the idea of using motion controls in some games.
The great thing about being a completionist is that you gain so much knowledge about the system you are collecting for. I'm going for a complete PS1 collection. It's my first attempt at collecting a set. I have discovered so many games I never knew existed that I absolutely love now. I don't collect any other system, so I'm 100% focused on PS1 collecting. Like Kacy said, with about 1300 games, you have no idea if your favorite game of all time is hiding in that library. Why not get them all. At the end, if it's not worth, you can always trade away. At least you played or tried everything a little. I have no idea if I will go for anything else once I get done with this. I just know that if I learn about other systems like I have the PS1, I'm going to be a video game history expert. Kacy must have so much knowledge about gaming in general.
+Kacy DaGameNerd So the collection isn't really "complete". Come on man. Go for ALL of them. Japanese games, European games, Australian games, variations. Make it truly Complete with a capital "C".
+Aᴍᴀʀᴛʜᴀʀ Dʀᴀᴋᴇsᴛᴏɴᴇ Dude... my wife would kill me if I went for the Global Set. I would need several more shelves for that. lol. I'll just stick with the US set and get a few solid PAL and Japanese released exclusives.
Im getting my own little Wii collection started as well. Very fun console to own with games that stand out above the rest when the motion controls are implemented properly.
GBA SP 2nd gen, true backlit. And GBA DS Lite, one of the best systems to collect. With reverse compatability for GB and GB color, Classic NES series, GBA and DS compatability, having an SP and DS allows one access to more titles than any other console.... Totaling out in the 4000 plus, title range, making it the largest, single compatability (with a handful of exceptions) library of any console....
so I'm new to this channel and it has nothing to do with the video, but I enjoy his videos talking about games or interviewing these other guys, he does it so.. well. Like, when I don't have the energy to game, I just sit here and watch this. Not to shit on Bradpat or AngryJoe or other TH-camrs, this is just my favorite. I need more channels like this.
Promise I'm not trying to be a dick but Latin America is a part of North America geographically speaking. but as far as the North American market is concerned it's really just Canada Mexico and the U.S.
+2-bit Jesus Yeah, that's a flub that I regret. In my defense, I live so far north that Latin America seems like an entire continent away! Kinda like Texas! :)
It's cool and you live on the side of the country I hope to some day live in I'm originally from Alabama (terrible weather) you are right though in some aspects not counting Mexico the rest of Latin America has little to do economically culturally and historically with North America. well besides American imperial adventures that effected them but lets keep this games centered. big fan of your channel you do great work. :)
Mexico is part of Latin America Latin America is a term used for Spanish speaking counties in the western hemisphere that means parts of North Central and South America.
I know that. You just can't say that "Latin America is a part of North America geographically speaking" when almost all of Latin America is in Central o South America
I was born in the early 2000s so the wii was my first system and has a special place in heart. Glad to see that people buy wii games still! I've been buying some wii games recently
Fantastic collection. Congratulation. I know you need money to collect these games but also dedication and lot of work, search, discussion etc. Impressive. I like Wii and still play a lot with it and I believe my son will also play when he will be little bigger :) There are lot of very good games on Wii.
First party Nintendo games are always awesome but seriously, the Wii? About 90% of those games will be garbage. That's why i don't get people who collect every game, even the shit ones. I mean, i collect for the PS2 and i only buy games i know i will play, there's no point in buying a ton of shit games you'll never use. Oh well, he must like them i guess.
+Serpico's Beard I totally understand your point. For me, I'll play even some of the really bad games. Gotta laugh at how bad some of them are. Anything that is made by Data Design Interactive is crappy. It can make you appreciate some of the more quality titles on the Wii. Also, I have nieces and nephews that come over and they do play those dance games and kid titles. Going for the whole collection makes sure I don't miss out on any 'hidden gems' that I would normally pass on.
+Serpico's Beard I get why a few people would, especially those who are on youtube so they can be the experts on that system, that has some value to them personally as well as the gaming community. However, for most people I don't get it. However, I don't get completing any system, especially with a large library. I do think it would be cool to have complete libraries at my disposal, however I would rather spend that money on must have games on other systems. I buy games when I can get deals, create a huge backlog and sell games after I play them if I don't see any replay value. The only games I do not sell no matter what are my NES games, N64 games and certain series I cherish like Zelda, Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior/Quest. Everything else better have replay value or they are out of here. Unless I somehow win the lotto without ever playing, I won't have a complete console collection for anything with a library of more than 100 games or so.
+Serpico's Beard Yeah, I like to collect games I want to play. Owning a complete collection would be neat, but could you imagine if you had 1300 wii games? Even if you played a new game every day you wouldn't get through it for 3 and a half years! At best I could probably squeeze in an hour of play time each weekday and maybe 3 hours over the weekend.
+Kacy DaGameNerd Alternatively just get Phase Shift (or if you're reading this in 2008, Frets on Fire or Guitar Zero) and play all those custom songs on the PC. Easy to hook up the wiimote via GlovePIE too and saves having to flip between different ISOs if you have a big collection.
***** yeah and there are some really good/fun games on it, though there is quite a bit of shovelware, mostly generic sports though, which is NOTHING new, sports games have always been around and they wont be going anywhere, i just think they are too common in general.
Why the hell does he have several copies of the same sega cd games, especially the good ones? This is why I would have to pay $5000 to get a copy of popful mail and whatever else lol.....hopefully he doesn't keep hoarding them all
been enjoying this channel quite a bit. and the praise of the Virtua Boy and GBA just solidifies the awesomeness. I only emulated the Virtual Boy and the games are quite awesome! and the GBA has an amazing library.
this guy showing some love for the Wii and has all those Wii U's above, not bad taste at all. Wii has a lot of shovelware but theres no denying it has a good amount of really good games. I'm willing to bet this guy also has every Wii U game by now
I dont think its hoarding when its kept neat and organized, its hoarding when it takes up all of ur space in ur house and becomes a detriment to ur health, dudes just a serious collector
Most collectors collect sets of things they never even touch or use. He wants to have a complete collection of the games, does not mean he needs to play them all. I think some people are just envious he can afford it.
I like collecting but I don't feel that I want to buy or collect games I don't like

I collect empty ketchup packets.

Is it a complete collection tho?

There's so much good stuff on the Wii but a shitload of shovelware as well. It was truly the successor to the PS2.

Been following you for a long time now MJR, and just have to say that your videos are awesome. I have very little interest in the Wii console but I still enjoyed this video. Keep it up!
And please do post more videos of your vinyl collection, really like those videos. We have kind of the same taste in music so really enjoy those! :)
Big thumbs up and greetings from Sweden!
4$ a game. so basically around 4 grand for a whole collection. not bad actually. still not wasting my money on this. but its so fun watching all these collectors show off the older games and stuff.
He would be more crazy, if he had the Commodore 64 computer + all games(5000-10000).
I got marble mania immediately after seeing it on your gem video.
The Nintendo Wii has sooooo many decent titles that people just don't realize. I love the Wii too :)
Mad props to Kacy though. And a wife that understands.
This man's Wii is huge........ I'm talking about his collection,.
u nassy Girl
Wii is the one console that I can ALWAYS find a game that I had NO idea existed.
I'm curious what this gentleman does for a living, cuz I cant afford to buy food for myself sometimes, so this just boggles my mind.
Sounds like you need a better job
Or a better location
Or a better work ethic
INCOMPLETE. Let's Sing 2019 just announced. Get on it! XDD
just dance 2020
the fact that this man not only has a wife ,,but kept a wife after spending like 5grand minimum on wii games, should be an inspiration to all
I’ve seen this one before. I still think two things, bring this guy back for more videos and you should’ve let him try on the hair wig.
oh my god this dude is awesome! lol complete wii collection you are nuts dude! :D
I never thought I would see el chavo en one of your videos lol
NSTC? NTSC! Japanese = NTSC also (well, NTSC-J)! Great collection there though! =D
+GadgetUK164 lol. I may have had a dyslexic moment there. NTSC-U is what I collected for. But I do have a few NTSC-J Shoot em up games too.
+Kacy DaGameNerd L0L
+Kacy DaGameNerd We want to see the global set ! Korean Taiwan Mainland China Europe Australia Japan.. what else?? lol
Kacy is the man!
Im getting my own little Wii collection started as well. Very fun console to own with games that stand out above the rest when the motion controls are implemented properly.
i cant believe he sold this collection
That’s exactly what I would guess someone with a complete wii collection to look like
Full. Room. Tour.
PLEASE.
I VEHEMENTLY second that request!!!!!
I VEHEMENTLY second that request!!!!!
Ah tray vette, a, so nar... Thats how to pronounce the singing game... Yo soy hablamos espanol, pocito, es no perfecto....
I have Muramasa Demon Blade on my Vita. It's so fun on a big portable screen.
It's on vita?! Now I need the vita version xD thank you stranger of 2 years ago
I thank him/her no less xD
so I'm new to this channel and it has nothing to do with the video, but I enjoy his videos talking about games or interviewing these other guys, he does it so.. well. Like, when I don't have the energy to game, I just sit here and watch this. Not to shit on Bradpat or AngryJoe or other TH-camrs, this is just my favorite. I need more channels like this.
awesome stuff man... love the newesh intro additions. Thumb ups!
I picked up Wario Ware Smooth Movies for $5 at Goodwill...
The Nostalgia Factor great deal
+2-bit Jesus Latin America is not a part of North America geographically. Only Mexico is part of NA.
Mexico is part of Latin America Latin America is a term used for Spanish speaking counties in the western hemisphere that means parts of North Central and South America.
I know that. You just can't say that "Latin America is a part of North America geographically speaking" when almost all of Latin America is in Central o South America
Americans next top model is definitely a most own😂
lucahjin?
you guys are awesome its always so interesting seeing these colection and learning
metal jesus u rock!!! also i love your co stars
I was born in the early 2000s so the wii was my first system and has a special place in heart. Glad to see that people buy wii games still! I've been buying some wii games recently
I would never buy games I hate or that are shitty just for collecting, but to each their own.
+Tasso Luz i agree 1000000000000000%
Yeah I'll never understand completionists. Just buy the good games.
cart based games are always the best to invest in, including the shitty ones because of rarity but modern disc based games is just insanity
Tasso Luz same
0:34 "no no no the Virtual Boy is awesome"
....ehh wtf? It blows actually.
He needs just dance 2017 now right?
Slenderfoxx37 yep
Fantastic collection. Congratulation. I know you need money to collect these games but also dedication and lot of work, search, discussion etc. Impressive. I like Wii and still play a lot with it and I believe my son will also play when he will be little bigger :) There are lot of very good games on Wii.
That guy's Wii collection is impressive. Thanks for sharing this video.
These guys have to have money because there is no way you can afford this with a middle of the road job
I bet they're broke now tho lol
they also dont have kids
Parents money
they live in seattle, thats where all the compooper work is
You would be surprised how much you can save up if you cut out stuff you don't need like cigarettes and alcohol.
+Kacy DaGameNerd is Mini destop racing a crappy game?
+Serpico's Beard haha, really. A huge collection of shit is still just a huge collection of shit to me. But hey, whatever floats da boat.
Your mom is going to be so proud of you.
Cool video. Kacy seems like a chill guy.
I got to say that guy seemed nervous ... and Metal Jesus just did his thing smooth sailing . Awesome
How bout you try and complete all of those games?
+foufoufun0 hehe
I beat every game I own. I even have a lot. But I don't buy shit games.
U know how many shit games this guy has for no reason AND he spent money on them
NSTC... Yup, that dang old NSTC.
I believe it is NTSC.
I was thinking the same thing but I figured he would no better than me. Now that you sat it I'm gunna go with my gut I knew I was right ! Lol
@@wecameasandys hahahahahaha same here
Kacy! Great video guys. The Wii is my favorite way to play Guitar Hero. Who needs dongles.
+Crazy Joe Wii has tons of Guitar Hero Hack games. Have you gotten into that?
+Kacy DaGameNerd I've never heard of that!?
You need a modded Wii to play that hacked games with newer songs on the games.
+Crazy Joe i dunno much but i think it comes with modded songs like ps2.
+Kacy DaGameNerd Alternatively just get Phase Shift (or if you're reading this in 2008, Frets on Fire or Guitar Zero) and play all those custom songs on the PC. Easy to hook up the wiimote via GlovePIE too and saves having to flip between different ISOs if you have a big collection.
this is one of MJR's best videos i think
I USED TO WATCH EL CHAVO!
hes like the nintendo wii version of pat the nes punk.....
+gmcnewlook lol that's not exactly a bad thing.
+The Gaming Paladin never said it was... Kinda cool actually, nows the time to do a wii collection games are pretty cheap....
I'm willing to bet this guy also has every Wii U game by now
Whats the point of owning all those games if you are never going to play them?
+Hugh G its called hoarding its a serious mental problem
+ImTheMan0fSteel you kidding? look at the meticulous sorting and well placed content, this guy is no hoarder, hoarders are messy, MESSY mofos.
Logan Mook nope, i disagree with you and will always do so, this is collecting, though a bit of an obsession on his part.
