I'm pretty sure the game that reminds Fusion and every else of is called "Do You Copy." If you dont know what that game is, your in a Watchtower for a National park and you have to guide another ranger to his watchtower, or yours. Do not tell him to go in the wrong path, otherwise the Wendigo will find you, or the other ranger.

The game is most likely based off Tomino’s Hell. It’s a Japanese poem that is said to kill/curse any who read it aloud. The capital letters that were strangely placed spell out TOMINOS HELL. Someone else probably said it, but just in case I’ve put it here.
Fusion you make me feel so old even though I'm 22. You were talking about how you use quarters and dollars for vending machines and it brought me back to the times my dad and I would get pops and snacks from those. It's sad that time goes by so fast :(

When I was little, my family lived in the mountains and one time a tornado, yes a freaking tornado, was down the road from us. I was going to say that, but you beat me to it. I noticed this as soon as I saw the title card thinking that it has something to do with Tomino's Hell like in the legend and I was right when each of the tapes mentioned the captial letters in each of the letter Masaki was reading.
Tomino's hell. That's what the capital letters spelt out. Tomino's hell is kind of an old Japanese urban legend. I would just suggest looking it up, it's really cool!

fusionz there is another ending for this game you have to find the 7th tape and the tape will read the poem for you without killing you there is a tape in a watchtower and it will say to fix the tape in a tape deck to reverse things in the 7th tape
