Yall know this by now but copyright got me again smh, sorry for the blur in the middle. Hope yall enjoyed the video tho, I think this is an underrated but interesting topic!
I have been watching WWE for almost 2 decades now and I can firmly establish the fact that if WWE like you a lot it will push you no matter what. Example : Roman Reigns was main eventing WrestleMania after WrestleMania despite not being over with the fans and is always in the World Title picture. The same goes for Charlotte Flair. If WWE doesn't like you it won't like you no matter what. Even if you get to become a World Champ due to fan support WWE will find one excuse to never push you again. Example : Dolph Ziggler , RVD So yeah, WWE did like Mr Kennedy but not at the same level as they liked Roman Reigns , John Cena , Hulk Hogan.
Vince was the only one who liked those people. Charlotte is a great wrestler but she got where she is due to who her father is. And Roman is not a great wrestler. But he got where he is due to his famous family.
I always liked Mr Kennedy, he was an amazing wrestler during the Ruthless Aggression era and was awesome on TNA. Big ups to him from another Wisconsin native 🌟. Great video btw 👍
There were a few wrestlers from the early 00's that should've had better runs in the WWE. Mr. Kennedy is chief amongst them. It might have kept the product more interesting if these names had been kept in the main event picture.
Tbh everything was fine for him. I would've dare to say - everything went great for him. Sadly he became a victim of backstage politics back when both Orton and Cena were those who's word meant everything for Vince.
Except he actually didn't drop Randy on his head. In that video you can clearly see Randy's head/neck never made contact with the mat. Kennedy said so himself in a shoot interview. It was politics from Orton and Cena that got him canned.
Always thought of Randy as a diva who could go off at any moment during that time when he has a history of being an ass towards fans, but John joining in really left a bad taste. John’s always been cool and one of the more down to earth guys in the higher echelons of the company but for him to help pin the blame on Kennedy was a dick move.
They were jealous of Kennedy. He was one of the most christmatic and talented workers on the roster at the time. He was over and His mic skills alone made him main event.
Never was his biggest fan, and as a 30 years old I didn’t catch or care about catching all of his career. That being said, his “Mr Kennedy” is stuck in my head.
Painkillers that nearly every wrestler takes regularly and are hard to get unless disabled with back issues. America is one screwed up country in regards to it's laws. I mean, most of the states in the country have legalized marijuana and yet such is federally illegal (likely due to taxation reasons). I can't help but feel as though the USA is owned by BigPharma and the FDA and that's hardly a conspiracy theory.
Never a big fan of kennedy though. I could understand why orton reporting him. He can be kinda stiff with his opponent. One that came to mind is eddie guerrero on his last match. You can see eddie took a brutal unprotected chair shot from him right on the head after the match. Kennedy gimmick and promo was awesome though.
Dude still to this day I believe mr Kennedy has gotten robbed he should have been a megastar I grew up in the mid 2000s watching wrestling I remember Kennedy was so over he was a savage I felt like edge took me Kennedy career.
@@Wrestleology check your cm punk video, it requires a lot of retractions. I left cliff notes on the comment section with a lot of things that have been cleared up by punk himself & other wrestlers who were there. Ryback is trash & you can get to him another day. Cm punk deserves a retraction video
Watch the video. Randy himself jumped that high and he didnt even hit his head. Kennedy was supposed to win wwe championship in 2009, orton and cena were already known for backstage politics and they knew hes gonna take their spot so they got him fired

Oh
LA Knight reminds me a lot of Mr Kennedy... Kennedy!
Hell yeah I agree I said the samething to my brother that Mr. Kennedy reminds me of LA Knight
Yeah since Mr Kennedy was Eddie Guerrero's last opponent and LA Knight was Bray Wyatt's last opponent
Actually me too wtf, didnt notice it till you said it haha
YEAH!
LA knight looks like Elias
If only if wwe decided to put a title on mr Kennedy everything would've been good
fax he was world title material

Yep 100%, they liked him but didnt love him haha
By WWE you mean love by Vince only

Frfr Ziggler should’ve been the future. Roman reigns just has so much family in the business. Roman is boring af

I started watching wwe somewhere around that time as a kid, when he debuted
W 🔥🔥
Same
I always said They should of let him keep the brief case until wrestlemania 24 and when he returned from injury cash it in and boom new champion
Plus he wouldve been able to return even quicker because the injury wasnt even as serious as they thought smh 😔

I loved this guy when i was like 9, he was so funny with his entrance. Always wondered wtf happened to him.
I get having to pull Kennedy as McMahon illegitimate son but how was Hornswoggle the next best choice?

@@AxleTradeAgree! I lost a lot respect for Cena after he buried so many great talented superstars.
When I was a kid I legit thought Mr. Kennedy killed Eddie Guerrero with that chair shot because I still thought it was 100 percent real lmao.

Mr Kennedy could’ve been something big if it wasn’t for backstage politics and orton’s ego.
Randy Orton was a real piece of work back then. Was never his biggest fan, despite respecting his in-ring work.
Facts I never liked him
Kennedy is a legend surprised Kofi survived Randy Orton
misterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr whats his name!
KENNEDY…… kennedy
Can You do a Video on the Missed Opportunity of EC3 in Wwe
I actually covered him in a video already called WWE’s Biggest Missed Opportunities
Let's be clear..it wasn't just marijuana usage. RVD got ARRESTED with Sabu and had other drugs on him , like painkillers
