I’m moving house and I can only get 10mbps. Can you explain to me how this works in a way a person who has no idea how this works would understand. Does this just appear in my Wi-Fi menu now and when I’m setting up my tv or Xbox for example I select this from the menu rather than the router ?

Gotta love TP-Link. There' gears sooo shonky. Just got a new tp-link router in hope that setting up this crappy extender was easier. Doesn't work....predictably. These guys suck.

My AT&T router is 5GHz and the TP Link is 2.4GHz. Are these devices fully compatible? Can I expect any performance issues?
