if you watch alien 4 movie the ripley that said kill me that iz burned to deth by ripley 8 haz a slit in her chest....so she had a queen in her and that queen alien iz the one that gave birth to the alien human hybrid and killed the queen....ripley 8 had a queen that iz shown at the intro of the film....that iz how they snuck the queen into alien 5....may be you can make a video theory of that !

Bees/Wasps are like that when it comes to Royal siblings. When a queens begins to reach the end of its life cycle, it'll lay 5 royal eggs. 4 female (future queens) and 1 male (future king or lead drone), the 1st female that emerges first will go forth and sting her other 3 sisters to death before they hatch and will be very protective of her brother before and after he hatches. Very rarely do more than one queen hatches first, if it does sometimes there is a sting-battle, but my friend that owns his own colonies said that he's noticed sometimes (rarely) that if another queen is introduced or queens randomly hatch at the same time, they'll do a "dance of dominance" and once its complete the hive decides which queen they'll have and attack all other ones except the one that "won" and then you'll see the remaining hive basically mimicking her "dance" as a way of doing a "dance of submission". He's been doing bee keeping for 6yrs now and he was utterly surprised when he's seen that before.

queen bees are not decided by what type of egg the queen lays, it is decided by the type of food hte larvae is given. And there is no such thing as a "lead drone" only drones. The hive does not decide which queen to have, the bees decide which queen to follow, the loser queen is the one that leaves and around 30-50 percent will decide to follow the new queen elsewhere and this is called a swarm.
Having a Jeri in the next movie would cool.

Really love the Tubes, the original design is just so terrifying, Giger did a great job with the Necronom-Series.
If you have seen the Director's Cut of 'Alien', you'd see that the lone Xenomorph was using a process, dubbed 'eggmorphing' to create an egg using Samuel Brett body (breaking his body down and re-create it as an Xenomorph egg), with Capt. Dallas restrained, either to meet the same fate as Samuel Brett (as an egg), or Gilbert Kane (as a host for the resulting chestburster)...

There are ant colonies where they sometimes accept other queens and add them to the nest, instead of killing the new queen they find. Sometimes there might be as high as 3 queens in a super nest. Usually this happens in a black ants nest.

Yea, not read the novels in awhile but 8 vaguely remember a story where a woman is in an alien have and infected by a face hugger, seems she's infected the aliens let her walk around the hive and she's watching the xenos go about their business, in a couple of scenes she watches some xenos feeding other infected with thier inner mouths and a couple are using drooled resin to expand the hive.
They always showed the drones having major salivation issues so that could be the base of the resin

For the resin I'm pretty sure it's like a mucus spit. If you okayed Aliens vs Predator extinction, the drones were able to spit up things called hive nodes that would slowly expand and cover an area similar to the cocooning and walls of the hive.

I have always thought that the tubes are for balancing and their texture is just a part of mimicry. Xenomorph shape is not only a mix of DNA but also changes depending on the environment it operates in-like a chameleon or octopus, or a pattern of military fatigues. So the xenomorph form in Alien is affected by Space Jockey and Nostromo technology-and also its lifecycle works better in the Space Jockey biomechanical world or on isolated spaceships. You can see in many scenes it blends perfectly into the dark metallic corridors with a lot of tubes and cables. Funny how the production design in the original movie makes so much more sense than in the new sequels.
3 queens for 1 hive sounds cool! Xenomorphs differ a lot between their colonies and hosts. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be possible for contending queens to get along, and losing aggression for the prosperity of the hive.
Jeri is such awesome Xenomorph should have his solo movie against Weyland would love to see him in Xenos's hive and explore The hive and learn Xenos's nature and secret they fight to survive they are not evil

As a Beekeeper; I've had Hives with multiple Queens. It's super rare; and clearly a mother with daughters. How do I know; we mark our Queens to see them more easily, only new queens would be unmarked. Best guess, is old Queen was going to leave an found new Hive; it's how Bees multiply their colonies. She had laid her replacements, but; then didn't leave! Something changed! Danger from fire past, food low from drought, it rained etc. I think the Mother's overwhelming pheromone's in the hive simply dominates any daughters from birth! How long this can go on; I have no idea.

Seeing as both the fictional Xenomorph's and real life Bees; use pheromones in communicating complex actions; and queen's of both fight to the death over control their birth brood on most occasions! inter Morph queen behavior must reasonably have to be based off their hive's situation, and not driven purely by by dominance! Love to study one; you wouldn't happen to have any spares crawling around in your ceiling tiles would you?

Multiple queens makes a lot of sense if the hive anticipates an impending, overwhelming glut of hosts. Like, a single colony alone on earth, under Brooklyn. That would make egg production at huge priority since the hosts would scatter once they found out what was happening. The greatest advantage to the hive would be frontloading as many eggs as possible.
Personally i always thought the goo that comes from the Xeno mouths was what the resin was, it’s goo before it hardens and the drones spread it over the area and shape it as it gets harder. Building layers to give it strength like a paper wasp hive

So, I'm going to base my response about single vs multiple question on present day ants.
In all but a few ant colonies, there is only a single queen. However, in europe there is super colonies where a single hive may have hundreds to thousands of queens. These super ant colonies work together throughout europe. Both comics maybe correct, even if they conflict. The planet with the three queens was massive. It is not uncommon that there is more than one queen, but usually there is a dominant one. Like the matriarch.
Take it as the aliens evolving into a cooperative hive verses a singular hive.
You are actually correct about this. Xemomorphs actually have a homeworld called xenomorph prime and there are many many many queens there but their is only one true Matriarch over all the others
Agreed! I also would like to add that while there are colonies that cooperate in the comics, there are also times where multiple Hives would face each other. (Red hive vs black hive, female war I think it was.)
Really, I believe they used ants as an inspiration to the xenomorphs and I feel it's a great concept that is flexible and fluid for any story arc.

Btw. We dont actually know the Aliens cut the power on LV426 in the movie. Just because the team says (speculates) they did, it doesn’t actually mean it was intentional. It could have happened because of the dropship explosion, the damage from firearms or acid, just depleted over time etc.
I never heard of the story of Jeri which that is pretty interesting
on the aliens vs predator stratagy game on ps2 and xbox something like the secreeted resin was made by the drones or cystic drones depending on which drones you're controling they could make hive webbing
Fairly sure that in the Alien Vs Predator : Extinction game mentioned that the resin is basically recycled bodies. Once the chest burster leaves the host, the body is then broken down and used as material by the drones. Might be mis remembering this however as its hard to verify voice lines from that game
3 queens? Sounds like an arrangement and elden mentioned he wanted to stay because it was lonely and he wanted to be there for it honestly I love the multiple stories that tie together here
I just assumed it came from the drones when they have "downtime" after few hosts are available. That like worker bees, they are able to use saliva to break down the surface of the area selected to make the hive into a mouldable substance to create the hive foundations.
Since aliens have acidic blood, this special saliva is a less potent version of their natural acid and instead of "melting" materials it instead can soften them and therefore make them workable. This could also be materials consumed by the drones and then "vomited up" and moulded before it hardens. Also, since their acid is quite powerful they are not restricted to organic materials only but can "soften" even harder materials like rock and metal to mould into the shapes of the alien hive.
The hive is designed to mimic the aliens natural colours and shapes, and imitating their body temperatures allowing dormant aliens to hide anywhere in the surface of the hive waiting for any host or enemy infiltrators. The hive is also designed to create a maze of similar passages to confuse any intruders while also maintaining temperature and humidity miniature eco-system perfect for the Queen to produce and mature her eggs in the fastest possible amount of time.

I get it, it's got its moniker, but that octopus/squid face hugger is NOTHING resembling a trilobite....
some species of insects such as answer bees allow for multiple Queens to have shared rule over the hive and in some cases the Queens have different levels... Like one "High Queen." Some species are prone to have it inherent while other species do it as a survival driven thing.
I always pictured the resin as a saliva spat up like wasps when they create a hive/nest.

imo the 3 queen hive's i think thats a more natural approach, cause look at some if not most bee specie's, they keep a second queen as a back up incase the current queen gets sick/dies

The developers have said there is a queen but she's kept hidden from the player since it's mostly about the experience vs 1 xeno. Someone had to lay those eggs.

The fact that David is said to have created a creature that needs an external living creature to reproduce but can do so without a queen, which was the biggest problem David ran into, is terrifying and confusing. He made "the perfect species" but left it unable to reproduce by itself meaning David saw the perfect species as the species that whipped all other life forms from existence. Which means even though David could feel, he forgot to use emotion in his development of his understanding of philosophy and ethics completely. Or he would have understood true eradication of life isn't perfect, it's purely tragic since his own creation and the fact that he wants to create is, in itself, a contradiction to his own philosophy. Imagine what he would of been able to create from learning from the humans engineer instead of killing them, for example.

Your information on Amanda is incomplete and inaccurate. If you read the novels, you'll see that Amanda is in fact not dead, but has been put into stasis by her husband in hopes of someday finding a cure. Her husband then continues to fight Xenos alongside Zula Hendricks and Davis, and even meets the Blue Marcelles Xenomorph Queen in the novel Alien:Into Charybdis
on alien 3 when the alien got covered in hot lead I thought it was safe to say the alien had enough and decided to attack ripley queen or no queen, but that's just me guessing
with how far along the queen was it woulda been able to survive if the alien had taken her out at that point was only a few min after that it burst out

It's bitter sweet when I come up with a great idea or explaination for things and someone turns around and complicates things. I gave the Xenomorphs an explanation as to why they're seriously a perfect organism in regards to reproductive fail-safes and how it would be almost impossible to stop the spread of a Xenomorph outbreak. If a species like theirs was made to adapt and live on, and their reproductive cycle relies on hosts then there should be more than one means of reproduction.
• Queen's ovamorph.
• egg morphing.
• Xeno oral embryo implant.
• Spores from a decomposing Xeno body.
• Multiple Chestbursters to a single host.
These are how a perfect being would solidify it's foothold on its preservation by having reproductive fail-safes. In the event one way cannot be utilized, there is always another option.
Another thing that I've gotten a lot of criticism about is that a Xenomorph's physical appearance is dictated by its host. It's role however, it dictated by necessity. If a queen is needed but there is only a horse, then the queen's physical appearance will reflect that. Same goes for dogs, bulls and humans. Do not underestimate the flexibility of the Xenomorph's adaptation. The Runner Alien was not something new. It was just a drone. A drone that had a dog as its host. And don't tell me it could have been a bull. No. It couldn't. When growing from tumor to embryo, it would feed on the immunities that come to attack the foreign body. While doing so it completely analyzes the entire genome to see what the host's species is fully capable of. This process allows the forming embryo to begin taking its genetic path by picking which traits of its host are deemed beneficial to its survival. Sense Xenomorphs operate under a hive mind, the genetic blueprint of this Xenomorph would be added to the collective of its designated queen, who then acts as a transmitter to the Queen Mother who then provides all other queens with that same genetic blueprint so if any other Xenomorphs encounter that same species, the genetic blueprint is already added and the gestation process can then be made a little faster and much more thoroughly. The Runner was a pioneer for the canine species as a host.
Additionally, my statement that the Runner used a dog as a host is supported through analysis of the situation. A bull is a big, bulky, hardy animal. Xenomorphs are naturally well adapted to stealth role. This means that after picking and choosing which attributes it would keep, manipulate and improve, it would then apply them to its role. A bull would provide a Xenomorph who is capable of taking and withstanding sustained damage for a period of time to become a "tank" while naturally being exceptionally good at stealth. It's size is another attribute that would have been deemed beneficial and so the Runner would have reflected that as well.
Instead, it's sleek, agile form allowed it to fit the stealth role much better and thus the story continued as it did. If the Runner had a bull as its host, I have no doubt it would have been called something more fitting and the story would have been much more different with a slower, tougher, stronger and larger Xenomorph.

David experimented and created essentially a Xeno with reproductive capabilities While keeping intact it's ability to hybridize with any creature. "The perfect organism".
Although I do believe The Xeno rocked as cosmic horror an half the tragedy was people trying to explain it all rather than relying on shifting uncertainty and show don't tell tactics.

I absolutely agree about the magic being ruined by explanation. Alien was a horror movie because by the end credits we still had no idea what the monster actually was, aside from its namesake.
Aliens was a sci-fi horror because it offered an explanation in the form of a life cycle.
Regarding your theory, it certainly offers a good deal to think about, however I believe the black goo was a genetic accelerant and powerful mutagen. The sterility was only because it mutated the host so rapidly (and I'm not talking about when David dumped the entire payload on the Engineer populous) that the host's never reached a state of stability so the body couldn't reproduce because it wouldn't stop changing.
When you think about it reproduction is an incredibly amazing anomaly! Honestly, life itself was an inconceivable coincidence that it ever happened at all! Do you have any idea how immeasurably difficult and rare it is to create lasting life with no intervention!? It's unheard of!
You need the right elements, the right environment to house it, something to act as a ready and waiting catalyst, an accelerant, a mutagen, energy, heat, radiation and something to smash it all together in just the right way and at the right moment! And even then it has to take on the correct properties.
The only thing I can think of that possess the right attributes to sustain life is a virus, due to its high rate of spontaneous mutation. Then you factor in it would literally be born starving and it's solution is to divide and mutate in a nonlinear progression rate so each separate instance would be similar but cater to its own mutagenic path for the sole purpose of being food for each other. Now you have a survival of the fittest campaign for supremacy because they're all changing so rapidly nothing can stay at the top for long unless it's the lifeform that's undergone the most change!
Meaning viruses are the only thing that can start life!

My premise that the goo created sterile hybrids and that a reproduction cycle is partially based off David's statement, I believe he insisted it was the perfect organism more than once.
The black goo itself is the perfect mutagen and already replicated itself. The Xeno however most likely would just spread more black goo spores until! It was engineered to reproduce.
However! This is me just justifying Prometheus and the covanent movie. :P
Personally it should have remained cosmic horror!

Space has been measured as flat. So space is eternal in distance. Eternal in time.
In eternity even you will exist again just as you are now out of pure probability.
I suppose to help along that image, all we can see in the universe is only the "observable universe" outside this is the unobservable universe. Why is it unobservable? Because....there is nothing there for eternal distance. For so much distance no light has reached threw it to our universe.
The unobservable cosmos is eternal in distance.
Our entire universe, all we can see is like a sneeze in infinite space.
It also means the "big bang" is most likely a reoccurring thing, birth of A universe, cosmic sneeze that is ever so tiny in eternal space an ever insignificant in eternal time.
Yet! Because you exist now the probability of you existing again in eternity is well...very very good ;) 🤣

The Aliens saga missed a chance to do a great story. have the company succeed in creating weaponized aliens and then have them go to war with the real aliens.
