I agree with Nick Smith. Your airline is great, and your customer service (on the ground and in the air) leaves your competitor for dead. Have been a QF flyer since 1982 but switched to Virgin years ago. I don't regret that decision!
Virgin just need to improve the situation with lounge access in Australian international terminals and international destinations they fly to. Pretty poor that business class and gold passengers don’t get lounge access most international flights

I've just done 2 return business class flights to Bali from Sydney and VA couldn't be faulted. Excellent food, service , great flight & cabin crews . Though the seats don't fold flat, they are still quite comfortable . Bringing your own device for entertainment isn't an issue. Overall if you don't mind not having international lounge access & are prepared to forgo not having a screen in front of you & a flat bed, Virgin's Business Class Is still excellent value. I used FF points to cover both return business class trips . Thanks VA, I'll be doing the same flights again in a few months in Business
The lounge looks really sleek in design. The reduced mobility bathroom is really spacious, and the coat hooks look so cool! Kudos to Virgin Australia and happy to watch your 2023 first trip report! 🥂😁👍🙆♂️🙏😍

More of a premium economy than a business class but if the fare reflects that it's a good deal. A five hour flight, it's not quite long haul. Good food, friendly service. Travelling from Perth I'd probably still go with Air Asia Indonesia with prepaid luggage and meals at a considerable saving. It's a tight seat but it's only four hours :) Hope you enjoy the break in Indonesia.

Ah should’ve elaborated a little! Most of the times in Australia, onboard and even in restaurants, they pour it in the back and then bring you the glass of wine. So it’s really quite ‘fancy’ when they do show you the bottle
I think Virgin made a mistake in only having 8 Business Class Seats on their Single Aisle planes. Qantas have 12. Virgin is always booked out very early on flights from Melbourne to Bali. I usually fly Jetstar Business as the plane is usually a 787-9 and there are 21 seats in Business. Just make sure to avoid the dreaded middle seats. Sometimes you can get a one way fare for under $800. Hope you had a nice time in Bali. Keep up the good work with your Vlogs. Cheers.

I agree it would be nice if on longer haul flights, they do have some small pillows and blankets available on request. But I usually just make sure I have a hoodie with me....just in case !🤣
