He's s pro. I asked my shrink once how he could ge so calm with all us loons. He said it was his job to create a safe space for us to be ourselves. So basically he feels things but puts his feelings aside to create a calming atmosphere. I think that's really cool.
I am training to be a health professional and I have to say Dr Manning's reaction would not be acceptable. Obviously I have never been in that situation, but most clips of Dr Manning that I've seen shows her shouting at doctors, patients and other citizens. It's starting to get really frustrating how unprofessional she is being.
