Norwegian Boeing737 MAX action at Edinburgh Airport

- Having been planning to do a full day Planespotting at Edinburgh Airport since June, I finally managed to find a free day on Monday 18th September 2017.
2 movements I was eager to film were Norwegians new Boeing 737 MAX's.
These new variants of the 737 family have allowed Norwegian to open up a new market in the low cost transatlantic market.
With what seems to be very impressive growth the airline in turn is preparing to add additional frequencies to their existing transatlantic flights from 2018 onwards.
The first 737 max you see landing at 0:16 EI-FYD was delivered to the carrier in July 2017, with the second one EI-FYB being delivered in June.
With impressive range and various other characteristics the 737 max is certainly going to be a game changer.
With the likes of Air Canada announcing it is to deploy it's first 737 MAX's on direct transatlantic routes from Toronto to Dublin in March 2018, the aircrafts future looks good.

Absolutely, it does indeed. I cannot wait to see Air Canada's ones too mate. They just announced a new direct route to Dublin using them in 2018 from Toronto. Its going to be great to see them :D

Great Video Jonathan. I must say those CFM Leaps sound mint. I much prefer the MAX over the NEO, but the C Series beats them both, haha. I never realised they used both 24 and 06 on your visit.
