what makes you think that? encore was supposed to be his last album. relapse was supposed to be his last album. recovery was supposed to be his last album. MMLP2 was supposed to be his last album.
the few albums since then have sort of given up on the intent of making these grand & theatric bodies of work (they're almost like spinoffs as opposites to main entries if that makes sense) but this album is returning to a proper rollout, seems like it's an attempt at a concept (like his earlier albums), & that concept obviously could hint at the end. the guy has been trying to retire for 20 years but cant seem to create something hes comfortable with ending his career with. if by some chance this album recieved critical acclaim & was regarded as his best album since TES I'm all but certain he would leave it at that. doubt that will happen, but if did he would be done.

you guys do realize eminem has been trying to retire since encore 20 years ago? it may not be his last album but almost every album hes done in the past 20 years was an attempt at making a final album. if people liked relapse that would have been it. now hes stuck in this loop of always trying to redeem his last album because it wasnt good enough to end his career with
