    I quite like the refreshed look of the Escape, glad they brought over the ST line which Europe has had for a while now. Only thing it's missing is the 2.3 Ecoboost.

    I do like the fact that the Lincoln is quieter on the inside. For a more complete answer, I will wait for your next video with specifications, such as safety features.

    The new 2.0 Ecoboost 4 with dual injection might make this a winner. But I still prefer the ecvt hybrid and PHEV versions for great reliability. My 2013 Cmax PHEV just hit 300k miles. Time to upgrade soon.

    I'm with you Jill, I prefer the Lincoln Corsair. Having said that, the Escape is a nice alternative.

    JIm Farley has already intimated the Escape will go away in 2025. The fate of the Corsair is unknown, as Jill confirmed, they are built on the same platform. Edge is going away next year. Farley has said he does not want to make any 2 row SUV's, except maybe for the Bronco Sport. Ford is putting all their resources into EV's and battery production, which will not end well.

    I own a 2016 Ford escape. It just locked up. No warning lights, always serviced at Ford. 80,000 miles. Ford says they been having problems with the 1.6 EB.

    Which has a higher resales value (in general, not a particular build type): Corsair or Escape?
    I actually think the content of this video should include another dark horse from Ford: Bronco Sport.
    I also think people use Corsair or Escape differently. Escape is more like a daily commute vehicle. Corsair is more like a tiny near-luxury vehicle (and with not so top notch interior materials & build quality, comparing to NX, RDX, ...) - not for the primary use as a bumper-to-bumper daily commuter.

    • @Pickuptrucktalk
      @Pickuptrucktalk  ปีที่แล้ว

      These were our choices from the event. Typically luxury vehicles have better resale value, so we are going to say Corsair.

    Did you compare the Escape against the Corsair as far as ride quality? My age'd back is calling me to purchase the Lincoln for comfort. But knowing it is built on the same platform, wonder if it rides any better?
