I played this one on my Gamecube. It was fun, but I basically only played it for a couple days before I hit a level that was too hard and never went back.
@PS2orDie the thing about the PS2 library is that even the "bad" games are well worth playing. This era was so experimental that there's always something you can appreciate on an artistic level. It's all so fascinating but that might just be my nostalgia talking. I love the PS2 clunkiness lol
This game aged like a fine wine and it looks absolutely beautiful here at native resolution integer upscaled with the retrotink. Those sharp pixels never looked so good! On the PS2, there were only a couple of games I can think of where they really emphasized very polished pure keyframe animations(instead of motion capture/animation). Jak and Daxter, Ratchet series, Mark Of Kri/Rise of Kasai and this one. Apart from my day job, I teach 3d modeling and rigging and I remember one of my students from awhile back who's dad worked on this game.
First, I love the retrotink and how it brings out the awesome ps2 graphics! Second, thank you for sharing, that is so cool! 3d modeling seems difficult, and if you’re teaching it you must really enjoy it! I can’t believe a student had a parent who worked on the game that’s so cool! I really appreciate it man
what's criminal is that the studio shut down before they could make the sequel, idk if this game was too hard to make cause it is very high quality or if it didn't get enough sales but i'm sure the sequel would have solved a lot of it's problems
@@PS2orDie The game's weird platforming also reminded me of Tokobot plus. Never managed to finish that game as I got lost and then my disc went missing.
yeah the challenge belt was not worth it , i played the game many times on ps2 and pc so the later levels, i think the moon levels and beyond were just boring and basic. Even before that some levels were just way too long lol.
My childhood game right there 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yeahhhhh! So many childhood memories in this one!
Oh, so you played this game. I remember playing it when i was a kid and not being able to remember its name until recently
Glad you know it now! Definitely worth a play through!

I played this one on my Gamecube. It was fun, but I basically only played it for a couple days before I hit a level that was too hard and never went back.
Ah the GameCube version! You should give it another go, you can totally beat it in a day or two!
Good sir, you are utterly deranged for taking on this challenge.
Subbed. Excellent video
Haha thanks! I do feel like I’m losing my mind when I think about the time investment…but then I play a fun game and forget!

Somehow I never noticed you were now a robot with a PS2 on the head, but I like it, game looks fun too!
Haha it started as a joke and now it’s part of the channel! Yeah this game is really fun
@@PS2orDie Also I thought Billy West was the Billy from the Giant Egg game from GameCube and thought you were making a comparison
@ Ah haha sorry! The voice actor!
Top quality game.
Facts!

@@MGrey-qb5xz I freaking bet, it didn’t even have that bad of problems, so it most undoubtedly would have been even better!
what about avatar-last airbender, thats a ps2 game this game reminded me of?
That’ll be a game I play soonish! I’m excited to try it!
@@PS2orDie The game's weird platforming also reminded me of Tokobot plus. Never managed to finish that game as I got lost and then my disc went missing.
@ Oohhh never heard of that game, added it to the wanted list!
@@PS2orDie I'd send you my copy if i could ever find it, cos I just don't understand why I got stuck in the first place.
lol i played it , bruh that's the definition of a b grade ps2 game lol
I-ninja? Did apple make this game?
If they did there would have been 50 small incremental updates that slowly changed the game into an iPhone

@@MGrey-qb5xz Oh man I can agree with that, I liked the shorter to mid-length levels, but yeah those last ones are a slog!
