    Hi Aleshia I love your choice of colors for this bracelet. I don't seem to have the vision to see how well these colors will work together until I see you put them together. And as always you have demonstrated it so clearly and easy to follow. Thank you for sharing

    The colors of the example 1 your working on in the video caught my attention, seems antique like. I love that! I'm making this 1 for my mother in law, here goes!

    Thanks so much, this tutorial was awesome...bracelet came out great, I used left over green serpentine for the small rounds, and swarovski red coral pearl for the large rounds, iridescent 11.0s, rust red, red coral and iridescent 6.0s for the rest...it's phenom for real...

    You do amazing videos....I have watched a few & they all seem to use a needle....but you don't & I like the way you do it. You explain things very well, even I started to understand & I've never even attempted to make jewelry. Makes me interested in trying.

    From the Internet: 11/0 seed beads are about 110 per gram. 8/0 seed beads are about 38 per gram. 6/0 seed beads are about 15 per gram. 11/0 Delicas are about 190 per gram.

    • @beadifulnights
      @beadifulnights  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! Maybe toho 11/0 seed beads but I don't know about using toho 6/0 seed beads. You can defiantly give it a try though. I experiment all the time with different brands and get different looking results. You can try and pick out the smaller toho 6/0 seed beads, try to avoid the thicker beads. I did this before in another bracelet and it worked. Good luck!!!

    Hi Alicia. In your fairy tail Braclete tutorial you use a very cool green bead with the orange 10mm. I'd like to know what those are and where to get them. Please 😁

    hello aleshia 1 I love your creative beadwork,2 I wonder why you take Mono filament to work with(slippery) it makes the beadwork to loose and often even wobbely when finished.Have you ever tried something like a nice C-lon thread with some wax ?or fire line ? this kind of wires are more robust and easier to work with,certainly when you are close the knot.

    Really like the design, but the 2 strand construction seems confusing to me. Thinking I might be able to figure it out using a needle and single strand. TFS the design.

    Hi Aleshia. Love the bracelet and the ring. I bought some of the ball and socket clasps and I have lost 2 bracelets. It seems to come undone when slightly bumped. Any one else have tthis problem? Thank you for the tutorial.

  • @pobreviejo741
    @pobreviejo741 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Maestra!! I went and bought a bunch of those little button clasps and I'm having a rotten time with them. I can't even open them--takes hours--and even if I get one open, and close it again, I again have trouble opening the clasp. This is not just one--it's all of them. I'm afraid if I put them on a bracelet I won't be able to get it off without calling the Fire Dept or something!!
    They can't all be faulty. It has to be me. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? What is the trick that makes it look so easy for people making jewelry on the Internet that I'm missing?

    Thanks for the tutorial on this. You are always so easy to understand and show your work so well it's easy to follow. I had a question on this project. Have you ever done it with 8 mm beads instead of 10s? Do you think the 6/0s would still work and just use fewer 11s around the tops? I've made a few Fairy Tale bracelets with the 10mm and they looked amazing! Was thinking to try the 8mm for a smaller more delicate bracelet.

    • @Doxymeister
      @Doxymeister 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, good question. I was also going to ask if 8/0s would work, probably have to just adjust the number of beads. Don't have any 6/0s but have plenty of 8/0s.

    Every time I make a ring the color washes off. Does the color stay on with these seed beads that you use?

    • @beadifulnights
      @beadifulnights  7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, the colors I used are permanent. Sounds like you are using dyed or galvanized seed beads. I also try to avoid silver lined or color lined seed beads. Over time the silver tarnishes inside the holes and comes out, the color lined will also come out over time. I love to use opaque colors, aurora borealis finishes, lusters and ceylon colors.

      When I order beads I make a single strand ring of those type and wear it all the time, washing dishes showering etc. It's so hard to find reliable reviews on bead finishes.

    Hi! I'm a huge fan and I was wondering if u could take on a challenge for me. I have an elderly friend who adores scarves. I really want to gift her something super special. I came across some tutorial for "beaded scarf rings" in both a three hole design and single cylinder cone design but ALL THE VIDEOS ARE IN RUSSIAN!!😨 There's not a single English tutorial for this on TH-cam!!! Please help! I need this by mid-October to have time to make it before I travel to see her. Oh and I don't have any rivoli beads so if u could do it with plain round and or bicone beads that would be much appreciated. Thanks! You're the best!!

    Nail polish on the ends of the monofilament. OK, here's how I know I watch too many of these videos.
    The thought actually entered my mind that since Aleshia obviously likes nail polish and wears it all the time, perhaps she should coat the mono with the same color nail polish she's wearing in the video, just to be fashionable.
    Yes, gang, that actually entered my mind and I am deeply ashamed.
