btw I'm sure someone already said this. but for a 5-card deck with 5 people pulling it does not statistically mater if you go last or first. as the deck gets larger it will be more and more advantageous to go first if the number of players stays constant if it all happens one time through. I think they said the deck is large and they play until someone dies so in that case it is almost no significant difference to go first or last.
After crunching the numbers i was wrong about the second part. if the number of people or cards are not even then the person going last is actually at the advantage because the cards will run out before it gets to the last person so others have a higher likely hood of drawing more cards and haveing more risk.
DL the pro of playing both sides. He complains pros are bad because they don't play 16 hours of soloq a day, then says comp play is so removed from soloq that top lane is practically a different role.
If the order of the players is fixed, the probability of any player getting the death card is simply the probability of a card being in any position in the deck. The probability of the death card being first in the deck versus tenth in the deck is the exact same.
If it helps anyone who's confused, imagine that you deal out the 52 cards to 52 people. Then they all look at the same time. The card has an equal chance of going to any one person.
@@coolpapabell22yea, but in the example in the video there are only 10 people being dealt 52 cards. Meaning that the first 2 people in order get "dealt" 1 more card than the others, which makes them more likely to draw the death card
@@TheMaundmo1 Yeah, that's absolutely true - your chance of getting the death card is always exactly the number of cards you are dealt divided by the total number of cards, regardless of order. So 6/52 for people with extra cards and 5/52 for the others. (I'm not sure these three ever stopped talking over each other enough to exactly establish the rules they were following lol).
No one talking about the fact at 25:05 where Contractz throws his sapling over the wall on his teammate instead of the Sylas? Took him way longer to die lmao.
I don’t really mind ksante in pro play even though we see him every series. Idk what about him makes me not mind, maybe it’s just cause he does cool shit
so it depends for the card thing if there are like 12 players then going last could be good. if you dont snake its good because good odds you draw from the deck the least. but if draw goes say 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1 like that then that removes alot of wanting to go last. if you go 12341234 then going last seems reasonable. especially if the numbers are uneven you might fall into the pool of players who literally cant draw a full time everyone else can.
He does yap sometimes but I don't think there is anything wrong a lot of the time sneaky doesn't talk anyway or is like getting food lol I think he enjoys having double lift do the work probably

SnipingHobo my goat

Thank you for your service 🫡
glad we got an update on your prostate sneaky, was getting worried...
glad it wasnt a noobstate
Probably the only time I'll be excited to see "PROSTATE" in all caps
I always enjoy listening to my 3 favorite non-statisticians try to figure out the probability of events.
thank you for the prostate discussion. i laughed so hard i told my dad. and he didnt laugh bc he thought women had prostates too.
Thanks dude, big fan of your editing style! You just understand the viewer's perspective so well! 😊
The convo in the last game is incredible
Man i love it when sneaky keeps breathing into the mic or slamming the desk or something and makes my subwoofer create an earthquake
bro what
@@MinhNguyen-iy3gp listen to 1:41:02 bro is just fisting his desk making my subwoofers explode and i'm guessing headphone users their ears implode
Oh bro that's so funny whatever noise you hear doesn't even like get picked up on a phone@@mikevos4460
18:54 DOUBLELIFT IS HILARIOUS!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA
DL is so bad at explaining these types of math riddle things XD
DL shocked to learn women don't have prostates is the most 'American education' thing I've ever heard.
I'm glad the other two gave him the dragging he deserved lol.
It's not even an education thing it's more of a common sense/life experience issue. He's just that sheltered from the real world
bro is terminally gamer i love him
1:16:50 keep the math podcast, this stuff has me laughing everytime.
All I know is that panth has a broken interaction with passive-w auto and sundered sky. Each of the three strikes crit instead of just the first one.
Wildest thumbnail of the year, gonna be hard to top
this one deserved the gunners meteos
We all have knowledge gaps but the prostate one is crazy

hell of a thumbnail, i love it

Exactly, when you draw is irrelevant at that point, the outcome was decided the moment they finished shuffling.

take a shot every time doublelift says "just [something]"
why does the thumbnail say prostate...
i mean have you seen what sneaky's been doing on patreon
Because DL is a 31 year old man who somehow didn’t know that women don’t have prostates.

My friend told us he paid for an IQ test and wanted us to guess his IQ and we all started saying single digit numbers after that
Doublelift talking about ashe being bad and the WR, when he was also saying the same thing about Cait basically and Cait won.
id wanna go last because if a group of ten picks 19 cards, everybody has to pick a second card before me
Wait, is the LTA split just a bracket tourney? Or will there more games after?
Its basically longer lock in tournament
Watching Castle play udyr was pain
I thought the season just started I am so confused why are they having eliminations and brackets this new LCS format is cooked
