    I know from my own experience that commercially packed beans(பயறு) are not allowed. I was asked to throw away packed thattapayaru, mochai payaru, mor milagai etc. 😢 . Do you know if seeded dates are allowed?

    • @crossthecountries
      @crossthecountries  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Even though they are commercially packaged, any items that comes under the Seeds category will not be allowed into Australia. The Dry chillies will have seeds in it. The reason is that the seeds may contain pests which will devastate the indigenous Agri industry.
      Dates with seeds are definitely not allowed. Seedless is fine!

      Same thing happened to me last week. Seedless tamarind was not allowed as well.

      I think you can open an account online and start depositing money. but not sure whether you can take it out. you need to get your id verified, sometimes they may ask you to come in person. better to check with banks, bigger banks have got chatbots
      Answering your 2nd question : all most all banks have got internet banking and you will be able to do all your transactions online. for that you need to have completed step 1: verifying your identity

      Cardboard box(cartons) are allowed, if it is Wood, then there might be issues. Yes, if it can hold 25 kgs, then no problem. You have to take care of the packing. Also if should fit under your luggage allowance, most airlines allow 30 kgs per person checked-in baggage and a 7 kg hand luggage

      1. Yes, Kids will also have an allowance of 7kg. So you can carry a back pack or small travel bag. It should not exceed 7kg and the size mentioned in the ticket (for a hand luggage). I think it is 115 cm, adding length, breadth and height.
      2. Yes you can replace your backpack with a small travel bag. no problems with that. Again it should weigh less than 7 kg. If three people are travelling, your total allowance will be 21 kgs. Do not bring one bag which is of 21 kg, split into three bags

      Hi Tamil Elakkiya,
      There are multiple pathways you can choose in order to get a job in Australia
      1. Easiest and the toughest way is to apply directly in jobsites. The reason for being toughest is that employers will prefer people who are readily available in Australia with a valid work permit. There are cases where employers will sponsor your visa and bring you here.
      2. Onsite opportunities.
      3. Migrating to Australia (as a PR, on a 4 year work permit, or on a student visa for doing masters) immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia
