Man I've been binge-watching these puzzle challenges like crazy. I thought for sure there be a magnet in this one though the way it sounded you know. Good job sir Ramsay.
Mr. Puzzle has lots of experience with puzzles, in some ways it's more entertaining to see someone relatively knew at, like Chris, attempting to solve.
Fun fact: in Hungarian a kind of lock puzzle is called Devil Lock. I think it's a very fitting name (Unfortunately we don't have a name for puzzle boxes, which is my favourite kind)
@@HooksBill You didn't know that music was a "thing" in South Africa? Okay. Only, music is pretty universal throughout humanity. With distinctive sounds enough to identify country, cultures or regions of origin. So of course there is South African music.

After watching almost every one of your puzzle videos it's kinda inspired me to start a channel of doing puzzles and trying to learn harder and harder ones! Really want to do this 🙂
Without seeing the solution I think it works like a tumbler lock mechanism. The magnet picks up the balls and deposits them into the notches kinda mimicking the bumps on a key on the pins of a lock
lol that puzzle is so simple and made of solid metal, you ain't breaking that thing with out some power tools...which i guess is a good thing because the easily frustrated can beat the crap out of it without messing it up. good forward thinking puzzle maker
0:44 Were they the V2's!? I nearly fell out of my seat when i saw that! I had to replay the video at a slower speed to screenshot that! They look so dope Chris!
By far my favorite puzzle you've done. (yes I'm up to date.) right at the beginning when you mention the "v", I thought it had might be Roman numeral 5...just didn't know what context exactly. Totally didn't expect it to be 5 beads. Soo cool.
What???? If you hold the jar stationary.. you twist the cover .. .just because YOU turn the jar . Does not mean that's how everyone does it.. are you 12??
@@coolmoon4382 It's the same action of twisting the lid off, but from the lid's point of view, you're twisting the jar off. It's all a matter of perspective, and I am not implying that everyone should see it the same way. In fact, it is the contrary. People should stand in other people's shoes more to realize that there is more than one way to seeing something, and that can help you understand why they see it that way. Sometimes, kids can be much more mature and open-minded than adults. And in case you were wondering, I'm not 12, and I assume you aren't, either.
Paused at the 5:35 mark, I would set it to the point when you hear the release sound or the sound that’s very different from the others when you push down and then hold the puzzle on its side while slowly tilting it up and down to see if the bearing falls inside of something in the center. If that doesn’t work then I would slightly rotate the whole puzzle and repeat until I made either another discovery of made it full circle back to where I started without any changes.
5:38 Maybe the V is actually a direction? It needs to be solved facing that direction like an arrow. If it's magnetic maybe you need to hold the top down to release the bearing. Holding upside down with pressure see if the ball bearing stops somewhere while you're rotating the cylinder as though it were resting in a depression. Then release pressure to magnet the bearing in place? I wonder if pushing down the top opens a space for the bearing to slip under something so that when you release pressure it pushes the top off or unlocks something inside?

Kinda thought it would go another way. My thought was - 3 main, machined steel parts, 2 piece screw and the bottom part as sort of a nut. Solve - there is one ball bearing which you have to lead to the magnet in upper hemispherical cutout which would be in the top part of the screw, then run the ball bearing around in half pipe cutout in the bottom screw part to find lower hemispherical cutout then press the 2 parts together which would result in them being connected by the ball bearing which would allow to un you could unscrew those and by that solve the puzzle.
