I lived in Anchorage for about two years, while on deployment my buddies and I planned and agreed on a trip to see the magic school bus...Got both of my legs injured in an IED...wasn't able to go...Now on the road to recovery and will soon set forth on my great adventure.
This movie definitley changed my perspective on life. I actually read the book many years before the Movie came out and I would have to say the book is mord detailed I highly recommend reading the book Into the Wild by Jon Krauker.
When i listen to this music, there're just so much emotions in my heart that i can't stop crying. This is one of the most beautiful thing in the world... ♥

This is a love story that is staggering to everybody in the whole world. That God really loves us a lot. Does that answer that? I really love it here. I think the freedom of this place is just so beautiful. To me, i wouldn't move for $10 million dollars, Unless i had to.
Salvation Mountain by Leonard Knight (81 years old 2012). Leonard will finally be able to see his work of art after his two separate eye operations this April 2013. He has not 'really' seen the "mountain" in many years. His vision has been blurred for a very, very long time. The good news is that he will be visiting Salvation Mountain on MAY 19, 2013 SUNDAY! So those who would like to celebrate, May 19th, with us COME on out to SALVATION MOUNTAIN :-)
This movie takes me back to the ground. I watch this when i feel societys pressure and when i only think my life could be in a building .. It gives me hope.

But my motivation is to feel better and have that... inner satisfaction to have made that experience of having been there. I don't want to do it, because, when I'm old, I want to say "Yeah, I've been there and there, I've done this and that..." - to me, this is like judging people who wouldn't take that risk (i.e.) and that doesn't fit my personality.

The movie was too much for me because I sort of do these things and it hurts. Sometimes the only way is to just leave without no reason, but to continue the search. Idk what for though.
Sad that I had gotten the same feeling for years, as he did. I have just not yet break out of this prison... but will do some day. I wont do the same things as he did, but I will for sure give up everything I ever known from my past life and start a total new one total alone. Perhaps you just need to go out more and do new/different things because "The core of man's spirit comes from new experiences".. that doesn't necessary mean leaving your life behind and just going into the wild. And believe me, we've all been in your shoes before =)
