Not only do you appear more sophisticated however, but the seating lends itself to this, as you will be encouraged to engage in these activities of the scholarly. As a younger person (19), this functionality is also fantastic, as I enjoy all these benefits, but also have a place for my friends to sit when they’re over, and it turns my only personal space in my family’s home into a relaxing, calming yet social place, while maintaining the privacy that no other room in the house can truly offer. Having lived in clutter and a negative state of mind for the last few years, I’ve had an epiphany while watching these videos that I want to take back control of my life by first conquering my habitat - my room. I spend a large chunk of my day in it, and so it should be relaxing, but it isn’t at the moment. I can’t switch off and struggle to pick up a book at night - electing to scroll on my phone instead. Videos like this and comments like yours are helping me to paint the picture of what I want my room to be and mean for me, and so I thank you very much for that. I know you probably commented this two years ago and forgot about it, but even me typing this oversharing ramble has helped me greatly in gathering my ideas and settling on the absolutes of what I want and what I will need. , I think you could add to that list get the most expensive mattress that you can afford that is comfortable and also the best pillows and also the best linen bedding. Another thing I would add and I know this is not popular in some places is not to have a TV in your bedroom. This is my experience when it comes to sleeping it's so important and that's the main purpose of the room. Love your videos.

First i want to thank you for these awesome tips for creating a peaceful bedroom. The colour choices are beautiful and you are a great designer. When it comes to plants there is a little twist to it as all of these need oxygen at night themselves for growth.... so i learned that it is not a good idea to have big or to many plants in a bedroom. Because all the listed benefits like improving air quality and release of oxygen are only true during the daytime. Plants release oxygen while photosynthesis is going on in the daylight and when they rest during the night they take it in. So maybe think about this when choosing Plants for bedrooms. This is awesome as always, a real pleasure to watch. One thing I've learned from neuroscience in my work is that it is important for the brain to have a paired association with the bedroom as just for sleep and sex. The bed shouldn't be for other things. If someone needs to use the space to study, to put a visual barrier to demarcate that space so you can't see it when you walk into the room. :)

Itzel C she doesn’t incorporate fang shui. Never have mirrors in your bedroom or cover them when sleeping; do not have night stand or dressers at head of bed ; Nothing behind door; nothing under bed; no electronics of any kind; sleep with head aligned with hemisphere you live in. That’s just a few easy tips.
Seating space in our bedroom has backfired for me...it became the clutter spot 😅. loving the japandi style for bedroom, but a low bed will eliminate the under bed storage 🤔 Thank u for your tips!

Hi, my dear Elena 😍. Mirrors are always an excellent option for small spaces even more if they're positioned correctly allowing to reflect light and an uncluttered area. (as you describe it) Including "mirror furniture" is an excellent option for small spaces, but I think it's a personal choice since you can include mirrors in multiple and different ways. Good quality mattress and pillows together with luxurious sheets bed linen are a must for me - I love a lot of the French brands - also lighting and and cosy rugs and throws. I also have no media in my bedroom to avoid the bright lights and distractions - I often burn essential oils too during early evening bergamot and neroli are my favourite - I’m currently obsessed with the terracotta cinnamon burnt orange colours - am going to incorporate those colours somehow with a leopard print rug xx adore your dress btw which brand is it ?

Bed design and placement is crucial, next comes the wardrobe..when I wake up, the first thing that catches my eyes is the digital clock in my TV cubby hole incorporated in my wardrobe. Would appreciate your opinion on the items aforementioned. Great video as usual

Love having a seating place in the bedroom, it adds elegance.
It adds elegance as well as sophistication - particularly with a chaise longue or relaxed couch. You appear more refined as it is a place to read, think, and detach from the outside noise of life. Not only do you appear more sophisticated however, but the seating lends itself to this, as you will be encouraged to engage in these activities of the scholarly.
As a younger person (19), this functionality is also fantastic, as I enjoy all these benefits, but also have a place for my friends to sit when they’re over, and it turns my only personal space in my family’s home into a relaxing, calming yet social place, while maintaining the privacy that no other room in the house can truly offer.
Having lived in clutter and a negative state of mind for the last few years, I’ve had an epiphany while watching these videos that I want to take back control of my life by first conquering my habitat - my room. I spend a large chunk of my day in it, and so it should be relaxing, but it isn’t at the moment. I can’t switch off and struggle to pick up a book at night - electing to scroll on my phone instead.
Videos like this and comments like yours are helping me to paint the picture of what I want my room to be and mean for me, and so I thank you very much for that. I know you probably commented this two years ago and forgot about it, but even me typing this oversharing ramble has helped me greatly in gathering my ideas and settling on the absolutes of what I want and what I will need. , I think you could add to that list get the most expensive mattress that you can afford that is comfortable and also the best pillows and also the best linen bedding. Another thing I would add and I know this is not popular in some places is not to have a TV in your bedroom. This is my experience when it comes to sleeping it's so important and that's the main purpose of the room. Love your videos.

First i want to thank you for these awesome tips for creating a peaceful bedroom. The colour choices are beautiful and you are a great designer. When it comes to plants there is a little twist to it as all of these need oxygen at night themselves for growth.... so i learned that it is not a good idea to have big or to many plants in a bedroom. Because all the listed benefits like improving air quality and release of oxygen are only true during the daytime. Plants release oxygen while photosynthesis is going on in the daylight and when they rest during the night they take it in. So maybe think about this when choosing Plants for bedrooms. This is awesome as always, a real pleasure to watch. One thing I've learned from neuroscience in my work is that it is important for the brain to have a paired association with the bedroom as just for sleep and sex. The bed shouldn't be for other things. If someone needs to use the space to study, to put a visual barrier to demarcate that space so you can't see it when you walk into the room. :)

Never have mirrors in your bedroom or cover them when sleeping; do not have night stand or dressers at head of bed ; Nothing behind door; nothing under bed; no electronics of any kind; sleep with head aligned with hemisphere you live in. That’s just a few easy tips.
Seating space in our bedroom has backfired for me...it became the clutter spot 😅. loving the japandi style for bedroom, but a low bed will eliminate the under bed storage 🤔

Hi, my dear Elena 😍. Mirrors are always an excellent option for small spaces even more if they're positioned correctly allowing to reflect light and an uncluttered area. (as you describe it) Including "mirror furniture" is an excellent option for small spaces, but I think it's a personal choice since you can include mirrors in multiple and different ways. Good quality mattress and pillows together with luxurious sheets bed linen are a must for me - I love a lot of the French brands - also lighting and and cosy rugs and throws. I also have no media in my bedroom to avoid the bright lights and distractions - I often burn essential oils too during early evening bergamot and neroli are my favourite - I’m currently obsessed with the terracotta cinnamon burnt orange colours - am going to incorporate those colours somehow with a leopard print rug xx adore your dress btw which brand is it ?
